I just took my 4th dose (once a week) of reta on top of my weekly dose (well into 6 months weekly dosing) of tirz. I began Tirz at 2mg, titrated up to 2.5mg and 3mg over the following months, and have been on 4mg of Tirz for the past few months. I have adjusted my diet, sleeping paterns, and I work out 4X a week for 1.5 hours, mixing weights and cardio. I have lost close to 35lbs in a little over 6 months using Tirz and adjusting my lifestyle to a more healthy existence
I decided too transition over to reta because I was nearing my weight goal and I wanted the additional health benefits of reta. I started with 2mg of reta approx. 3 days after my weekly 4mg tirz injection. My original plan was to spend a month at 2mg, then titrate up to 3mg of reta while lowering my tirz to 3. I would spend a month at those levels, then titrate up again to 4mg reta, titrate down to 2mg of Tirz. My plan was to follow this scheudle until I was fully on reta and no longer using Tirz.
HOWEVER.....I have been so impressed with how I feel and how my body is responding to my current 4mg Tirz/2mg Reta, that I have decided to hold here with the 4mg/2mg combo, and re-evaluate in another 4 weeks. If I steel feel the same way, I'll continue on with the same 4mg/2mg combo. If I notice a decrease in effectiveness, I will continue with my orignka plan and titrate up on the reta while titrating down on the tirz.
With this current 4/2mg combo, I feel my workouts are SIGNIFICANTLY improved/more robust; my recovery is significantly improved and speedy (I am in my mid 40s but my workouts and recovery feel like I am in my early 20s, significantly more noticeable using the combo instead of just Tirz by itself); my food noise is SLIGHTLY increased than when using only Tirz, but if I had to put a number on it, I'd say I experienced a 10% increase in my food noise from the lowest level Tirz gave me (that is, if Tirz made me feel a 1 or 2 out of 100 for food noise, adding the reta gives me a score closer too 9 or 10 out of 100. BARELY NOTICEABLE, and completely managable with my healthy diet and eating habits thanks to Tirz over the past 6 months).
THIS ALL SAID, please consider this before rushing to combine reta and tirz: as far as I know, there are no published studies or data detailing the effects--negative and/or positive--of combinging Tirz and reta (I hear there are studies going on right now, so maybe in the near future we will see some actual data). While we can all speculate the pros and cons of combinging these two peptides together, if we are honest critical thinkers, we must acknowledge that we DO NOT KNOW, at this point in time, the negative effects (if any) of combinging these two. Be mindful of this, and consider your risk toleraance.
