What number are you aiming for on the scale, and what makes it the one?

220lbs (100kg) — as an adult I've never been that "light", so it could go lower, or I might just hold there and add more weight training. Honestly, seeing myself at 100kgs or below is really tough to imagine.

Still, this is a marathon, so who knows — maybe someday!

Honestly, I haven’t put any thought into that question so far. When I began in late December, I weighed 308. This morning the scale read 246lbs. Back when I was playing high school football, I was 200lbs and in great shape. So I suppose my hope is to get below 200.

Just so you know, 100kg equals 220lbs, not 200lbs. Personally, I haven’t dipped below 200lbs at any point in my adult life.

I don’t have a fixed weight in mind either. 51-year-old guy, 5 foot 9. Right now I’m 192lbs and 14% body fat. What I’m after is hitting 10%, purely to find out how that feels. After that, I’d like to sit at about 12% over the long haul. My guess is that puts me somewhere from 170 to 180. Though it’ll probably creep up a bit once more muscle comes on. I’m not chasing size—just an athletic, healthy build. If I could pick a look, it’d be Daniel Craig at his most ripped in the Bond films.
I match your height and weight right now. A few years younger than you. About 10 years back I was in really good shape, and resistance training is nothing new to me. I managed to reach 168 and 10%, but it felt impossible to maintain. I was constantly hungry. Still, I had abs for 1 summer. I can't wait to find out how it feels now that the magic sauce is in the mix.
Luckily, dropping under 170 probably won't be necessary for me — 175 should get the job done, honestly.

Right now my 6 pack is visible, and I fit into size 30 jeans. Time will tell; ultimately that's just a snapshot. My focus is on fitness and health over the long haul.

Thanks! Metric isn't what I grew up using, so those freedom units throw me off 😂

My 1st goal is simply to get below 200. My weightloss journey began 6 years ago, when I was 396 and doing intermittent fasting. After 2 years of IF, I switched to ozempic and stayed on it for nearly 2 years. Once they cut the PAP, it became unaffordable for me. Of the 150 pounds I had lost, 40 came back. A few months later, I finally moved to compounded. Then I discovered this place and grey. Right now I'm at 230. I've been overweight my entire life and tried countless yoyo diets. Peptides are what saved me!

185-190 is a comfortable range to stay at, and then lean out when summer comes! It hadn't even crossed my mind that doing that would be far simpler with reta or whichever glp1 you pick.

My initial target is the lowest weight I hit after VSG. I'm 2.5# from it. With a milestone birthday coming up, I don't know what's achievable anymore. There's a figure I keep in mind. I'll see how far I can get while feeling comfortable. No matter where I end up, that leaves me 3-4# of wiggle room for maintenance.

Even if not a single ounce more comes off, I'm still at under half of my former weight.

At first I aimed for a neat, even amount of pounds to drop. That initial target is now behind me. My next target comes from the weight limits needed to jump out of a plane with a parachute 🪂

I turn 39 in 7 days. Male, 5' 4". Starting point was 215lbs. Roughly 10 weeks back I began reta, and my initial plan was to reach 180lbs, then take stock of where I stood and maybe come off reta. As of today I'm at 182lbs. Not long into it, I figured out that the number I'd set as my "goal" wasn't going to be enough, haha. My thinking now is that somewhere around 160-170ish while lean would be a spot I'd feel pretty good in. Being super jacked isn't the aim, since I'd end up looking like a muscle midget, but I also don't want to come across as a runner or as someone small and short, lol. Oh, and one more thing I'm picking up on: "cutting" while also trying to add muscle means the two fight each other, which makes it get tricky!

I stand 5'9". Starting point: 102kg. Target: 77kg. Present: 73kg.

77 kg was my aim. The reason: at that weight I had long experienced myself as healthy and strong. Yet I did not halt my weight loss at 77 kg. The reason being it did not match how things used to be, and some belly fat remained.

8 weeks ago, once I hit my GW, I began a maintenance dose of 2mg/week, and across 6 weeks I shed 4 kg. 2 weeks ago I quit Tirz injections and moved to Ipa+cjc1295 no dac, ramping from 350mcg/day once daily up to 900mcg split as 3x 300mcg/day. My eating window runs 05:00 AM to 12:00PM, and I work my core every day. Weight training happens 5 days/week too. Across these last 2 weeks since stopping, there have been no hunger cravings and no weight regain. A bit of belly fat is still there. Not for much longer, though.

In my stockpile I have plenty of Tirz, Reta, Ipa, Cjc1295, Ghk-Cu, AHK-Cu.... Elora and Tesa were dispatched 2 days ago. Not with any specific plan to resume injecting. But one never knows. There is nothing wrong with preparing for war during peacetime. The enemy has not gone away

I stand 185cm tall, and my target is 88kg as a walking weight, or 85kg when I cut water.

The reasoning? 185-100=85. That just feels like the correct figure.

My starting point was 240, and my first target was 180. After giving it more thought and running the figures through BMI calculators, I chose to push toward 160 instead. At 160, I'd sit in the upper part of a healthy BMI range, while 180 would leave me in the overweight category. Honestly, I simply want to find out how I'd look at 160, because I haven't weighed that little since my high school days.

180-184. Right now I'm around 190, possibly carrying a bit of water from Tesa. Reta at 12mg weekly. Over the last few months, at this dosage, I've been bouncing around 180-195.

Male, 6’0”.

At this range my BMI stays below 25, and my waist sits at 33” for a height of 72” (body roundness index 0.46, with the goal being under 0.50 - meaning the waist ought to measure less than half the height).

My heaviest ever was 330, which left me with extra skin (I'd guess 5-10 pounds of it), so I figure BMI gives a skewed reading because that loose skin adds weight. Were I able to cover the cost and the weeks of healing that skin removal surgery requires, I think that would close the gap. Yes, surplus skin is a prize earned by losing the weight, but I'd prefer that prize displayed on a shelf rather than wrapped around my middle, arms and legs.

When it comes to cooking, grams are my go-to and I actually like it that way. Same with centimeters—I measure in them by choice. But my weight? That's where I draw the line. I'm sticking with my beloved freedom units and never letting them go.

Mine is a pretty random target — around 160 lb — though I suspect a DEXA scan or something similar would be useful, since I don't think my frame would handle anything under roughly 150 all that well. Being as healthy as possible matters most to me now, and the number carries far less weight than it once did. I want muscle on my body; I'm not after being thin and feeble. At the same time, I come from strong, tall, sturdy German stock, so I doubt my biology would ever land at something like 135 lb and have that look or feel healthy. That's why I'd love to know what kind of scan could reveal my ideal weight, body fat percentage, or whatever metric — something to live happily and, with luck, still leave room for pizza now and then and things like that.

I began at roughly 285 lb, then had a baby and put most of it back on during postpartum because postpartum is rough. This attempt started near 260, and I've finally made it back to about 180. Something else I've noticed: the lower I go, the more unsatisfied I still am with my appearance, so the mental side of feeling at home in your own skin is its own struggle too.

Starting point: 282lb at 6'2" on 12/12/25. As of now, 206lb.

At first I set my sights on 200lb... it was arbitrary, though it appealed as a clean round figure and sat 25lb under my 2018 low of 225lb from low carb/high protein plus exercise.

After that, on 1/30 I had my first DEXA. That got me thinking, and I settled on wanting to see abs, which means roughly 12-18% body fat. From the scans so far, the low end of that range works out to 182lb — a very satisfying even 100lb of total loss... so my target now is visible abs, likely somewhere in the 180-190lb window.

There's another DEXA on Monday to check how lean mass is holding up and refine the estimate. At 206lb, I can say for sure, there are no visible abs.

Yesterday the scale showed 199.8 for me. My goal is set to 145lbs, and I'm a 5'7" woman. That said, I'll likely switch to maintenance somewhere between 155 and 160. Being heavy wasn't always my reality — roughly 100lbs came on once hashimoto and PsA really flared up.

Thicker has always been something I liked on myself. Pants size never mattered to me, nor did any specific number on the scale. When I'm happy with how I feel and look, that's where I'll stop.

Hoping to drop 20 by the time September rolls around. It’s really just a straightforward initial milestone. I figure I’ll land somewhere near 123 pounds or so? The only thing behind that figure is that I’ve noticed others who share my height and weight seem to look fine at that point.
