Hi <3 I want to talk about skincare, plus what the title mentions. If you apply GHK-CU topically, what were you trying to address with it, and what changes have you actually seen? I began researching it, but then I came across the idea that it doesn't do much for people below 40? and that redness is its main use?

My main goals are stretch marks, plus moisture for my hands. Over the past year my hands have gotten insanely dry even though I use hand cream all the time and drink a decent amount of water, though not a perfect amount, around >2L. I also have KP dots on my legs.

When I lived in Korea I saw derms regularly and got gluth IVs every so often, which I really like. I wish I had a nurse friend who could give them to me, because I think I'm too squeamish to do it on myself.

My routine used to be simple and worked really well for me, but after moving to Japan I stopped doing it. I've been so so so sad because my my melody age r pro got stolen while I was traveling ᅮᅮ

I used Innisfree gel suncream for moisture and no white cast in a cushion.

Innisfree cherry blossom set but backwards, the tone up cream as a night mask that I washed off in the morning and the gel cream in the morning

Snail musin under the gel cream

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask - currently the T1 edition as Faker is my husband

Bifesta bright up cleansing lotion as a facewash at night and in the morning just cool water

Perfect whip sometimes for a deeper clean

Suisai Beauty Clear Powder sometimes

Lots of mask packs but bought in packs of 20 from various roadshops

I used estee lauder advanced night repair for a few months but I swear my cheeks have a bit of hyperpigmentation now so I gave it to my mother.

What is your skincare / peptide routine ?

My approach leans toward anti-aging instead of everyday skin maintenance.

Every 2 to 3 nights, I put on Tretinoin 0.025% before going to sleep. Each morning, moisturizer and sunscreen go on. On top of that, I do subcutaneous injections of GLOW (which includes GHK-Cu), and I got it from someone selling on a forum.

NAD+ and glutathione are also part of my subcutaneous injection routine. The impact isn't really dramatic, though I find it does become more apparent when I pause between these treatments.

Has Tretinoin 0.025% made any difference that you've picked up on?

For me, the thing I'm looking forward to most is starting glutathione again. Back when I got it as an IV at the clinic, my skin looked so glowy — though I can't tell whether that came from the glutathione itself or simply from the added hydration of the drip ;;;

I'm only posting to find out how I can prepare GHK-CU topicals for use on my face and scalp.

I've paused my IM Glutathione shots for now, and I can definitely tell the difference. Back when I was keeping up with it, around the time I finished my second vial, my husband made a random comment out of nowhere — "whatever you're doing is working." He was aware I was injecting things, but apart from the Tirz, he had no clue what any of it was or what it was for. After doing a good amount of reading a while back, I settled on simply mixing the topical GHK-CU cosmetic powder into my Neutrogena Hydro Boost that I pick up at Costco...I really like it that way. Before that, I put together a spray bottle using old-school contact lens saline, figuring I might test it on my husband's head, but in the end I only ever sprayed it on my own body. The spray bottle is super convenient, but there's no real point in misting saline on myself. My hair is fine as it is, so that wasn't the reason I tried it.

My skin does look better when I'm using it. What I'd really like is some tightening, but I haven't seen that happen. My thighs are the area I most want to work on. I've picked up a MN device, Meso needles and other supplies from places like Meamo or Acecosm, etc., but I still haven't gotten started with any of it....it's too hot and sunny right now, so I'm holding off until winter.

I'm a terrible researcher, because the improvement in my skin might just come down to the fact that when I'm using these things, I'm doing everything. When I'm not, I don't even wash my face. So the benefits might simply be that I'm doing something, anything, you know?

I'm really wanting to give glutathione a go, but after 1 injection I just can't make myself do another one. Next vial I'm planning to add vit c and lido. The sting itself wasn't terrible, though I'd swear my butt cheek was still achy/stinging almost a week afterward. Might just be in my head. I only felt it maybe twice. This vial is going to my daughter, who has zero issue being a pincushion. Honestly, I'm jealous. Right now I'm only doing liposomal glutathione 500mg every day.

When it comes to my plan for reducing sag while I lose weight, I've been massaging my inner thighs with my estradiol cream combined with ghk cu serum. For my stomach, I use ghk cu serum plus a really tiny amount of estradiol cream. I keep it away from the breast area.

Every so often I'll combine tretinoin with body lotion. And I use amlactin ultra healing on my whole body every day. No clue whether that will actually do anything.

My stretch marks are barely visible, they're old and already skin color even before I lost any weight. They don't bother me.

For anything at that treatment level, go to a medical professional or someone medical-adjacent. We only do IM or SC/SQ injections—IV is never something we do. DIY is not something you should consider.

GHK-Cu has been discussed in plenty of threads on this forum.

My anti-aging routine right now looks like this:

Etude House Whip Cleanser for cleansing

Or an oil or balm double cleanse, then Whip Cleanser or SomeByMe Lacto Bubble Cleanser.

HA - Numbuzin, Anua, or plain pure

Topical GHK-Cu

Etude House Barrier Cream

I've got a nice stash of lotions, toners, and essences - BHA, AHA, Glycolic, Salicylic, Galactomyces

Serums: PDRN, galactomyces, Niacinimide

Tret 0.05% at night - normally sandwiched so irritation stays away

Sunscreen: Etude House Directors, Dr G, Skin Aqua

Planning to add Snap-8 and Syn-ake

Which products I pull from my skin care shelf depends on what my skin needs.

Oh, that's a new one for me—estradiol cream, never came across it. Any changes you've picked up on? And yeah, having a nurse buddy who'd hook me up with a weekly IV would be amazing.

As for Amlactin, all it gave me was a slightly odd scent, nothing else.

Honestly that's not something I could handle — even a routine blood draw makes me feel a bit faint.

Also, that's a ton of Etude House! Their baking powder cleanser and lash serum are both products I enjoy. Do you recall the era when the branding felt more princess-like? I really miss that ;;

Syn-ake is completely new to me. For the time being I'll keep using botox, but that peptide has the best name I've ever come across.

I only recently began applying it, though research exists showing how estrogen impacts the skin—specifically that it promotes collagen production and diminishes wrinkles and finger lines. My thinking was that starting now, rather than holding off until there's definitive evidence, made more sense. Since Amlactin contains ceramides, I'm simply hoping that layering all these things together yields something even slightly superior to doing nothing.

Research also indicates that estrogen cream can thicken the skin on the thighs and hips.

Hoping for the best! You listed specific spots for the ghk—why leave out the arms, legs, and bust?

And sorry if this comes off oddly, but I saw where you're based. I haven't been there myself, yet my insta feed is flooded with Amish restaurants and I'm incredibly envious—I'd love to go for the pancakes.

Nope, I spread it all over. I only mentioned the spots I figure will give me trouble.

Whenever I get blood drawn, I start trembling. Yet somehow I manage to inject myself daily. LOL

Etude House doesn't get enough credit. It's clean, gentle, and it works.

I put together a batch myself using Ordinary HA plus raw GHK-CU. My process was to mix 1mg of the ghkcu into a ml of BAC, then blend that into the HA. Every day I apply it and massage it in thoroughly; once it starts feeling tacky during the rub,

I wet my fingertips with a bit of water and continue working it in until my face has a glass-like finish. I'm definitely not an expert, but it does the job for me

For reconstituting raws intended for topical use, sterile water beats bac water as far as our skin is concerned.

There's a thread on this forum that includes instructions for whipping up your own lotion. I plan to give it a go before long.
Could you share a link for that? I searched but it didn't come up. Thanks
