I'm in week 4 of taking Reta, and a genuinely welcome change has been that I snore much less.

Before, I was a moderate to heavy snorer; now I barely snore at all. It feels like a fresh start!

My mornings no longer include a dry mouth or a sore throat, and I get up feeling completely refreshed.

Best of all, my snoring isn't waking my wife and kids anymore.

Anyone else notice this too?

My snoring seems to have dropped to nearly zero, though I believe the weight loss is the reason

My snoring had gotten so severe that my wife's sleep was suffering, and on some nights she ended up sleeping in a different room. Earlier this year I had scheduled a sleep study, but I called it off once I decided to give Reta a try and drop 40 lbs. The idea of using a CPAP really puts me off.

Once I started Reta, my snoring disappeared entirely in 2 weeks. Snoring had been an issue for years, even during stretches when I weighed 10 lbs less, so weight loss alone doesn't explain this shift.

I realize there are plenty of conditions Reta won't help with, but after 8 weeks I've been struck by the changes I've seen: no more snoring, off 2 blood pressure medications, and PVCs almost gone. On the flip side, my sleep quality has fallen a lot with Reta.

Since I'm on my own, there's no way for me to tell whether things have improved 😂

I get that losing weight played a part, but I never thought it would kick in during week 1.

Same here — Reta seems to have some effect that specifically goes after snoring.

For the first 3 weeks my sleep was pretty solid, a full 8 hours without waking up. How did things go for you on the sleep front, what kind of impact did you see?

The one thing I have noticed is air hunger the day after I pin, starting 2 weeks in. Drinking more water helped, though it still shows up now and then.

My phone keeps tabs on my snoring. Last night, after 9 months of Reta, it came to 10 minutes altogether. Prior to Reta, I was logging 6+ hours of sawing logs. The newest trial data likewise pointed to a drop in sleep apnea, and to me the two are linked. Weight loss surely plays a part in that decrease as well. In the past I had some apnea and would wake up gasping a few times, though that tended to happen only after I got bombed on martini's, and I no longer do that either. Win-win.

A Galaxy Watch can serve as your companion. It'll tell you, more than some meat bag.

Our bed monitors plenty of things, yet snoring isn't one of them.

Calling my wife that probably wouldn't land very well.

Yeah, I get it — I was just sitting here imagining how fast my wife would end me if I ever used that word for her.

I often wake up during the night and then struggle to fall back asleep. And if I manage 15 minutes of deep sleep, that's a good night. According to my smart watch, roughly 2 hours of every night are spent awake.

I doubt I'm alone in this, though clearly not everyone deals with it the same way. My wife takes the same dose, and according to her, her sleep has been excellent. Likely helped by how much quieter the bedroom has become. 🙂

My snoring is being logged as mild these days, which is a nice extra. Still, credit where it's due: Tirz handled the bulk of the work when it came to getting my weight down. I've brought in Reta to wipe out what's left of the visceral fat,.

Even after using Reta for several months, I was still snoring heavily.
Has your hunger shifted? Have you dropped any pounds?
My appetite is different and I am dropping pounds, yet the snoring is still severe
That's great news, the drop in snoring should happen for you too. For me, it took roughly 2-3 weeks before it eased up.

Reta would be a miracle for my snoring, but the cause in my case is hereditary. Ever since my teenage years I've snored — back then I was thin, and it continued through my 20s when my physique was at its peak. That same period also caused my T to drop early in life.

That stinks, I'm sorry to hear that

My wife and I have both been using Reta 10mg for 7 months now, and she continues to snore.
