Is anyone here using reta on a daily basis or micro-dosing it, rather than the usual 1x per week injection?

I'm 7 weeks into Reta and things are going well. My current protocol is a 3mg injection 1x per week. But yesterday I watched a YouTube video where some self-described "internet guru" discussed dividing your dose into a daily amount. So for me, instead of 3mg weekly, that would mean 0.5mg injections on 6 days each week, with 1 day off.

Thought I'd ask whether anyone has personal experience with daily dosing, and whether daily dosing produced any better results.

Taking it daily is likely too much, though splitting into 2 doses per week isn't rare and may smooth out serum concentrations. That could mean reduced food noise and possibly fewer heart-rate spikes. I tried an every-other-day schedule previously and didn't notice any upside. For me, 1mg Tirz plus 1mg Reta spaced 84 hours apart each week keeps me at maintenance and does the job well.

ah! apparently the youtube video is not allowed here. Forum rules, i guess.
That approach makes sense. Countless "peptide gurus" out there push "protocols" that are, at minimum, questionable.

Should you wish, you can chart your dose on the web to visualize how your levels would appear. Assuming no negative effects are showing up, I don't see what benefit injecting more often provides.

In essence, it's about avoiding the highs and lows.

I could never bring myself to jab .5mg on a daily basis... after 6 weeks of injecting twice a day, the routine wore thin.

To keep the fluctuations smaller, I take Reta 2x weekly. Going any finer than that wouldn't do anything for me as far as I can tell.

On my end, I wouldn't do it either, unless a problem got out of hand — and if that happened, lowering the dose would likely come before switching to that approach. My Reta is also divided into 2 shots, spaced 3.5 days apart, yet the fact remains that a daily schedule would give the steadiest blood levels overall.

For nearly everyone, it just looks like consistency for consistency's sake.

It also comes across as a method of having a topic to bring up so they appear pertinent within their niche (Youtube Peps).

I'm with you on that. And the YouTube bit made me laugh 😂.

Right now I take 4mg weekly. Before this, I was on 2.5mg for roughly 3 months. Splitting the dose more often never seemed necessary — a single weekly shot has suited me fine.

Honestly, the payoff doesn't justify the hassle. Moving to 2x weekly or even spacing it out to every 3 days is reasonable, but pinning every day strikes me as overkill.

I inject on a weekly basis, and my current amount is 6mg. It is said that Reta needs to reach a therapeutic threshold of roughly 3-4mg before the full benefit appears. Assuming that holds, taking small daily amounts probably would not produce the same result as 1 larger weekly injection.

Injecting every day seems crazy to me.

But then again, injecting only 1 time per week also seems crazy to me.

During week 1 I took 0.5mg 4 times, and this week I took 1mg on Wed plus 1mg on sunday. Starting now I'll switch to 1mg every 3 days. I require the appetite suppressant and I want to keep momentum going.

My advice at this point: avoid relying on YouTube clickbaiters for your information. I did check them out, though only regarding mixing and filtering. Your call.

As far as I know, every clinical trial used a once-a-week schedule. So unless you're reacting in some specific way to a larger dose, there's no real justification for doing anything differently.

I split my dose into 2x per week, and when I increased it I moved to every 3 days, because side effects had me nervous. Taking on too much at once wasn't something I wanted to risk. Down the road I plan to push the dose higher than needed and then switch to a single weekly shot, but at the dose I'm on now, the results haven't made me feel sure enough to do that.

The adverse reactions haven't been awful. Nausea never showed up for us; what we did notice was a bit of heartburn when lying down for the night, though managing it is simple. It fades before the following tiration, and by this point even if it does occur, it isn't severe. Those are the only things that come to mind.

That's a fair point, and I do see it the same way. My concern, though, was arrhythmia of the heart. I'm already jittery as it is. Things became quite rough for about 2 days following my 3rd dose, so I paused, reduced the amount, and then built it back up gradually. As far as the heart goes, electrolytes appear to have resolved it.

For AFIB that started 3.5 years ago, I take Metoprolol 50mg along with Lisinopril 10mg. The AFIB came after a severe case of pneumonia that landed me in the ICU for 2 weeks, plus another 1 week before they agreed to discharge me.
