When I last measured, the number was 15 — and it's still going down!!!!

I'm approaching the 1-year mark on my glp1 path, and from where I stand, this medication remains nothing short of bottled wizardry.

Take it away and I turn into an endlessly ravenous hippo. At my job, I was previously the largest person around by a wide margin. Honestly, that was true almost everywhere I showed up. These days, I'm among the smallest. Wild. I'll happily accept that. The goal is getting really, really near....

Wow, 7" less for me and I figured I was doing great! 😂 Here you are putting the rest of us to shame! Nice work!!

I don't know my exact total loss, but I'm fitting into a 30in waist now, and a few of those are even baggy. GLP, Diet & exercise work wonders! Good job!

Same situation for me. I ended up getting new belts, and even with those, my old pants with a 38" waist give me a ridiculous clown-like appearance.

There was a time I also lost 7" and even that felt like a huge deal 🙂 When I look at old photos, the transformation is hard to wrap my head around!

Same here! 3 months back I picked up 38s, having stepped down from 40s and 42s earlier, and elastic waistbands before those. Went from xxl down to large, and I've got a pile of 36 pants that are just about to fit me perfectly 👌

That's incredible! I've also got clothes stacked in every direction across sizes, though lately the only direction I've been adding to is the smaller end of the list. It helps that our house has several bedrooms, so the good stuff can hang in spare closets while everything else lives in boxes.

Mind sharing how long you've been at this, which medication you're on, where you started weight-wise, how your titration went, and what you're at now?

Wow, that's fantastic progress! I began at size 40, and these days the 36s are feeling loose. I haven't picked up any new belts so far — I simply trim them down and punch additional holes. Compared with having to replace a whole wardrobe, what I spend on peptides is pretty small 🙄

That's fantastic! Losing 16" is massive! You're probably hardly recognizable these days!

How do you handle the clothes that no longer fit? I've often thought about whether folks just buy an entirely new set of outfits, and if they do, when exactly they decide to do it.

That exact thought crossed my mind earlier today. 🤔

Seems like we've hit that stage....

My starting size wasn't huge (dropped roughly 10cm / 4"')

Seeing @Gr33dyOctopus lose 16" completely blows my mind. (major props!!!)

Right — at some point that belt just can't cinch any tighter without making you look like a steamed bun. So is the answer elastic waistbands? Or do we just resign ourselves to constantly replacing our wardrobe???

Growth hormone took a good chunk off my midsection too (roughly 4-5 inches, I'd guess), and I'm honestly at a loss for what comes next...

So long as your goal is still to shed pounds (or you plan to), pick stretchy options.

There comes a point when you're happy staying at one size. That's when you should replace everything in your closet.

and after that the gh shortage makes us bounce right back up! That's why elastic is the smart choice!

For sure! My starting peak weight was 330. I realized cleaning myself after the bathroom had become REALLY hard, and I could no longer tie my shoes or trim my own toenails.

My first injection was on August 9th 2025.

I don't remember my exact titration schedule, but at this point I'm taking 6 mg tirz on Fridays plus 7 mg reta on Mondays.

Currently at 215, I'm sort of allowing myself to eat a bit more and only dropped 5 pounds over the past month, but that's fine.

Once my upcoming procedure is done I'll push hard toward my goal, which is 190.

I threw out every piece of my fat people clothes and have 4 hydrapeaks stocked with glp1s, I will never be fat again unless I end up in prison! Lol

I hope you've also changed how you eat and the way you live. If not, you'll be stuck on GLP-1 and retatrutide (because there is no such thing as "retatrutide (because there is no such thing as "GLP-3")") peptides for the rest of your life. Getting off Reta or Tirza becomes incredibly hard. Consider yourself warned!!

I'm giving away every piece of my old wardrobe on OfferUp at no cost. I want them gone from my life as fast as possible. This marks my 3rd round of buying new clothes, and I believe I dropped somewhere between 6 and 800 dollars this time. That doesn't bother me at all, though. After being extremely overweight for such a long stretch, the thing that matters most to me now is looking sharp and well-dressed. The way people interact with me has changed, and my clothing plays a major role in that.

Calling ourselves proud doesn't go far enough. The resolve you've shown has lit a fire under plenty of people in this community and around you. Some heroes don't have capes, my friend. Appreciate you letting us in on your path, and it's great that glancing toward your feet now reveals more of your own body!

The physical and mental relief you must be experiencing is something I can only picture. Your life has been transformed, brother.
