That's incredible! I've also got clothes stacked in every direction across sizes, though lately the only direction I've been adding to is the smaller end of the list. It helps that our house has several bedrooms, so the good stuff can hang in spare closets while everything else lives in boxes.
Mind sharing how long you've been at this, which medication you're on, where you started weight-wise, how your titration went, and what you're at now?
For sure! My starting peak weight was 330. I realized cleaning myself after the bathroom had become REALLY hard, and I could no longer tie my shoes or trim my own toenails.
My first injection was on August 9th 2025.
I don't remember my exact titration schedule, but at this point I'm taking 6 mg tirz on Fridays plus 7 mg reta on Mondays.
Currently at 215, I'm sort of allowing myself to eat a bit more and only dropped 5 pounds over the past month, but that's fine.
Once my upcoming procedure is done I'll push hard toward my goal, which is 190.
I threw out every piece of my fat people clothes and have 4 hydrapeaks stocked with glp1s, I will never be fat again unless I end up in prison! Lol
I’ve got a question. Before Reta entered your routine, how many months were you on tirzepatide alone? Also, what made you decide to bring Reta in? I’m asking because I’ll likely take that same step down the road.
Honest answer? It was sitting right there, and I already had it clutched in my sticky hands. Everywhere on Reddit and across the internet, the chorus goes "nope, never combine them, you'll fry your glp1 receptors, flush costly meds down the drain, choose one or the other." Then I land on GLP1Chat and folks are stacking them constantly.
Early this year, while at 10mg of tirz, I made the call to bring reta in, lowered the tirz, and slowly raised the reta.
My beginning was modest, with the original idea being a full switch from tirz to reta, yet these days I'm running pretty comparable doses of both, and my appetite, which once ran completely wild, is now something I can actually manage.
Stacking isn't a forever plan, but research on these glp1s indicates that past a certain point, their effectiveness tends to fade over time. And reaching goal matters a lot to me, by whatever route, before that point arrives.
So I'll stack until goal is reached, after which I'll probably settle on just one, most likely reta since that stuff is seriously potent, you can tell it hits harder than the tirz, though who really knows? Both work for me.
The weight keeps coming off, and that's the main thing, everything revolves around the loss and the goal. Even how quickly it happens.
I've got sooooo much of both drugs that I could (borrowed this line from someone else) dump out the vials and smother a huge grease fire on the stove with all that powder.
Regardless, I'm grateful to everyone here on this board, my life shifted first thanks to glp1s, and then shifted again once I found this forum and got far smarter about how they function and how to get the most out of them.
Thank you all.
