Loose skin after weight loss

I'm getting ready to begin KLOW, mainly because of everything it offers for the skin. My vials have arrived, and I'm reading as much as possible before I take the first step.

My loss so far is 123lbs, and yes, the neck situation is real and it gets to me. Still, the only fix is surgery, I'm afraid. The alternative would be regaining the weight, and I'm fairly certain none of us wants that!!!

I went in knowing this. I made peace with it quite early: it's the toll you pay. Far more people should understand from day 1, and accept, that this will happen to them to some degree - unless you happen to be 20 yrs old and have only been fat for a year, and even then - and there is no way for them to prevent it. Particularly when Reta has you shedding serious weight fast. Or when you already know, as I did, that you have a fair bit of weight to lose. A few things may slightly improve how skin looks or feels, but stopping it is not possible.

Taking care of your skin obviously brings its own rewards, and if you haven't started doing that yet, you should.

After dropping roughly 80kg, I've got sagging skin around my midsection, chest, upper arms, and even some ozempic face going on. Cosmetic surgery is completely off the table for me. My take is this: dealing with a bit of extra skin is far preferable and way more pleasant than carrying around all that weight, stretched tight and heavy, hardly able to move. Back then, simply turning over in bed felt like a whole routine. I appreciate the point about peptides and trying to put toothpaste back in the tube—apologies to anyone who thinks it'll actually do the trick.

I went the surgical route for the loose skin on my abdomen, and I'll be straight with you: it's the single best decision I've made. That area had been a lifelong source of insecurity for me. Maybe your own situation doesn't bother you to the same degree, and if so, you probably won't get the same payoff from fixing it. But if it genuinely eats at you, you've got one life here, and the earlier you have it done, the more years you'll spend enjoying that refreshed body, neck, whatever, before everything else starts falling apart anyway. My advice: quit wasting time on meds and peptides that aren't going to do the job, and pick up a second job or do whatever it takes if this matters enough to you.

Which location did you go to for the procedure?

Just so you know, getting a neck lift runs $12k-$30k in the US, whereas in South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, Mexico or Colombia it's $2k-$7k.
Betting your life like that is way too risky !!
Honestly, I'm not sure. Face lifts are a pretty routine procedure, after all — not identical to a neck lift, but close. The chance of a hematoma that requires another procedure sits around 1.8–2%, and nerve damage happens in under 1% of cases. On top of that, those complications typically clear up on their own within 6-12 months in 75-90% of instances. So if OP is aiming to get really lean — say a BMI of 20-22 or lower — and the loose skin is still hanging around and bothering him, that could be the point to consider surgery, start setting money aside, and compare the pros and cons.

Personally, I could see myself getting a face lift way down the road, purely for wrinkles. Before that, I'd probably give GHK-Cu, microneedling, lasers and similar options a shot — GHK-Cu first since it's the simplest, and the rest later if I'm in the mood.
The real risk isn't the facelift procedure itself — it's heading to places like thailand, mexico, or turkey to get it done cheaper.
In these nations, clinics have poured substantial resources into cosmetic surgery centers, equipping them with cutting-edge technology, pharmaceuticals, and highly skilled surgeons. As a result, they may be just as safe—or even safer—than facilities in North America or Europe... and on top of that, you get to visit fascinating destinations!! Given that I've recently lived in both South America and Asia, I'd definitely think about it.

There's a bit of sagging skin right below my chin — a turkey neck situation. Everything else looks fine, and I've dropped roughly 75lbs. Currently 41 years old, 6-3, 250lbs. Could ghkcu injections do anything for this? Anyone have ideas to improve it even slightly? It's that spot right under the chin on the neck, and it really gets to me.
At your age, there are exercises that can really make a difference with this, provided it's not too much for you. They need to be performed properly several times daily. I'm 58 and have been doing them for a month now. It hasn't fully gone away yet, but 2/3 of it has already disappeared. A close friend of mine suggested them. He began a few years back and no longer has the issue. According to him, it takes a couple of months before you're rid of it. He continues doing the exercises 1 or 2 times a week, just to maintain good condition.

A few beauty clinics say that 2 sessions of lemon bottle injections fix the problem. I ordered a kit 2 months ago but haven't used it. I don't trust it. There are no risks with exercises. Just give it a try.
Thanks! I'm absolutely going to start doing these now

Nothing so far has made a difference for me. My belly is where most of the loose skin sits, and KLOW has not shifted it. Fingers crossed it firms up with time — surgery is off the table.

Since last year, whenever I manage to actually remember to do them, I've been doing these exercises, and my double chin has basically disappeared.

Might glow70 be more effective for this use case? If tb500 and bpc157 were added, is there any possibility that this combination could assist with the loose belly skin?
Things that make a difference for sagging stomach skin:

Really lucky DNA.

The amount of time you spent carrying extra weight determines how far the skin has stretched.

Younger people tend to see it tighten up again more easily, though DNA still plays the deciding role there too. After the skin has stretched out significantly, trying to repair it with peptides is basically like scooping toothpaste back into the tube using a spoon.

While racing a clock. With your eyes shut the whole time.
Yeah. When I dropped a similar amount of weight before, I was 30 years old and my skin bounced back without any problem. Now that I'm 52, it's a different story.

I began Reta towards the end of October last year, and KLOW came into the mix not long after that. I've stayed consistent with both of them ever since, and the scale is down 50+ pounds. Up to this point, loose skin hasn't been an issue for me.

There's also something I recall from a Tim Ferriss interview—Charles Poliquin mentioned that he'd recommend Gotu Kola to his clients as a way to address loose skin.

Building up muscle can help occupy part of that extra skin. It's not like putting on muscle is a simple task, but during a cut you end up flat and drained. Once you reintroduce carbs and creatine and your muscles refill, that does make a difference.

Yeah, it's a real pain. My older family members keep saying, "It's incredible how much you look like your grandfather."

I'm considering giving GHK Cu multi-pin a shot locally if things don't improve within six months.
For years I would turn away from mirrors. These days I'm at the gym looking right at myself, and my feelings swing back and forth between happiness and grief..

The whole thing has been a mixed bag: in under 4 months I dropped 35 lbs, yet my face looks 10 years older. Being far lighter feels great, resistance training has gotten easier, and when I look in the mirror the obvious belly bulge is gone—instead I can see more defined muscle. My clothes fit better, the belt is cinched at the final hole, and blood pressure has gone from high despite hi-intensity meds to low normal on a low dosage. On the other side of the ledger: a network of lines and wrinkles across my face, sunken cheeks, crepey skin, and the start of folds around my middle... and the visceral fat still isn't fully gone! Using GLOW every 2nd day plus GHK-Cu creme hasn't produced anything obvious. Perhaps I'll launch a Go-Fund-Me to cover cosmetic surgery in Thailand! I'll pass along the link!

Are there any exercises that target belly fat and minor love handles other than sit-ups? I'm not supposed to drop any more weight and will be moving into maintenance before long.

I've reached my goal, and luckily the turkey neck barely showed up for me. My ghk started at the same time as Tirz, and I'm still pinning 2mg of ghk daily. There is a bit of crepiness on my belly, though it isn't severe. What bothers me most is my bat wing arms and inner thighs. My inner thighs resemble melted candles, and given my age, the odds of that skin snapping back are very low. Microneedling crossed my mind as something that might assist. Until then, I've started wearing swim shorts that still show my weight loss efforts but hide the melted candle effect on my thighs. So for me, I can confirm GHK-CU by itself didn't halt or tighten all the loose skin, even though I do feel it genuinely benefited my skin overall. Fine lines improved (in fact it helped a lot with my aging skin) and a few scars are much better now. It isn't a skin miracle, the only real solution for stretched skin is surgery. Minor improvements are the best you can hope for with any other treatments. I'll be sticking with the GHK-CU, and I won't be getting surgery.

Having shed 193 lbs up to now, tight skin isn't happening for me without going under the knife. Beyond the cost, I'd end up with scars regardless. What matters is that I feel better and my health has improved a lot. The loose skin tells the story.

I get exactly what you're saying.

My skin appears to have begun firming up somewhat. So there's reason for hope.

This week I quit GHK Cu, since it's causing far too many dark spots for me. Too much free cuprate has to be the culprit.

It appears that natural skin recovery takes a solid year, while GHK Cu gets you there in just 12 months.

What was your duration of GHK-Cu use? So far, I haven't noticed any dark spots showing up....

I used it across 2 cycles, each lasting 25 days, and then for the final 10 days before I quit, dosing at 2 mg/day.

Bumps, itching, and bruises were really hard for me to keep at bay. Now that the redness has faded and the two Bilis are no longer there, the dark spots are visible.😱

GHK Solo could be something I test. When winter arrives, I'll begin drinking my bottle of Oligosol Cu Au Ag. That covers everything for copper.

Perhaps I'll give those Ms. L'Oréal items containing KGHK at Cerave a try.

9 weeks in at 3mg daily, and the only thing I can tell is that my skin feels thicker. My wife claims it's smoother and that the stretch marks have faded a lot, but I can't see that myself. As for the looseness, there's far too much of it for anything to change. Dark spots haven't shown up, at least.
