How Long After Pinning Do You Feel Symptoms or Results?

Try Glp1plotter: enter your doses and it produces an estimated graph of blood levels over time. That is the simplest way to understand how these drugs behave over time.

The absorption half life is roughly 24h, and longer for reta, before blood levels peak after a dose, so peak effects 24 hours later are to be expected, though these effects vary a lot and might take only hours. Reaching peak levels after starting or increasing a dose takes 4 weeks, which is why you wait 4 weeks before raising doses, because of the week or so half life of these drugs.

Early doses produce extremely variable effects. Since you noticed effects from the first 2.5mg dose of tirz, you are at least fairly sensitive to it, and if you were already on 1mg of reta then your total dose is closer to 3.5mg. I am not sure how much weight you are trying to lose or whether it is mostly to try to reduce drinking; that makes a lot of difference in terms of what doses to aim for. If you are trying to lose 100 kilos, there is not a lot of point in taking forever to get the dose up towards maximum, unless side effects are a problem or the dose you are on is working perfectly.
yeah, with Tirz the effects seem to hit their peak fairly quickly for me, roughly 24 hours in.. reta probably 2-3 days later, I pin T on Monday and Reta on Friday, so I end up feeling full all the time. haha

I slipped up today. It had been 3 days with no alcohol, which is a lot longer than I'm accustomed to going.
Sure, people experience this differently (and I'm not dismissing anyone's feelings or beliefs). Still, I have to be honest: when it comes to breaking sobriety—especially for people who are just getting sober or cutting down—I really dislike the "start from zero" way of thinking. It can turn into an endless up-and-down cycle of winning and losing.

I much prefer looking at percentages… so over the last 4 days you only drank 25% of the time—that's a HUGE WIN!!!! I'm so happy for you! Big hugs!

Reta isn't what I'm on; tirz is, and I found the first month involved a lot of learning what my body wanted and could handle. I made plenty of mistakes trying to eat and drink the way I used to. Food noise suppression kicked in the day after my first 2.125mg shot. My drinking dropped from 1-3/day to maybe 6-8/month, often less.

Big congrats on starting this journey for your health!

I'd like to back up that reply. I'm not sure whether your goal with drinking is complete abstinence or simply cutting back enough that it stops being an issue, but even if zero alcohol is the aim, 3 days off with one drinking day is still genuinely good and something to feel positive about — and you're only just beginning. Expecting a low dose of a GLP drug to instantly wipe out drinking for good would be incredibly lucky; more realistically it's a long road with ups and downs, and hopefully far less drinking, or none, by the end. Good luck — it sounds like things are off to a really strong start even with one day of relapse. The key is not sliding into "oh well, I've started again, may as well keep going."

Stacking the two is part of my plan, hahaha! That way I get the best of both and stay full all the time.

Yeah... Much as I'd like it to, I knew this wouldn't be a straight line upward. Most things in life don't work that way, and when your body is so accustomed to something, quitting cold turkey is hard.

Still, this morning I woke up hating alcohol itself (which normally wouldn't happen) and wanting to restart the good habits (rather than giving in and carrying on drinking like lessthanhalf mentions), and that's a huge plus for me. I worked out and began working with a feeling of "happiness" about wanting to get back on track. That hasn't been the usual these past few years.

I credit it partly to the GLPs and partly to a shift in mentality. But having tried this so many times, it's hard to ignore the effect of the peps.

I'd love to reach a point where I drink 1 or 2 beers and stop there. Honestly, though, I don't think that's possible.

I'm considering starting a "diary thread" on this forum about my journey. Just to keep myself accountable, hopefully inspire others, and be able to see how far I've come when I read back.

Thank you all for the encouragement. This forum is full of amazing people.

Hi!

I'm a newbie. I started with 0.5mg and then 1mg of Reta a few weeks ago.

I decided to stack it with Tirz as it supposedly handles food and alcohol cravings (the latter being my main problem) better or more intensely than Reta.

I pinned 2.5mg of Tirz yesterday morning (should have started lower, but I'm that dumb), and didn't notice much through the day. Maybe some hunger supression but not much and still drank as usual unfortunately.

But, today... I have ZERO desire for food or drinking. Even a bit of nausea. I see food and I feel a "uggg..." inside of me.

This aligns with what I talked with another user of the forum who told me he feels the effects of Tirz the most the second day after pinning.

So my question is... Is there any data on when these peps achieve their maximum effects after pinning?

Personal experiences are also welcome! But I wonder if there's any measured data from the trials, etc.

Thanks a lot!

Sorry you're going through that. Now that you've got those 3 days behind you as real experience, I'm confident you can abstain once more. Do your best to stick with the dosing schedule you set out. The absence of desire will come back before long. If it feels necessary, you could also try spacing doses closer than 7 days. We're rooting for you ~

Absolutely — I'm ready to get back on track. Honestly, I'm excited about it.

During the week I space my Tirz and Reta pins 4 days apart, so there should always be something in my system 😅.

Appreciate the encouragement!
