I figured this post would come much later down the line.

Everything I hoped for from the peptides, hormone therapies, and supplements has materialized, and then some.

This isn't about hitting some goal weight — I never really had one.

It isn't about blood markers either, since I haven't even done bloodwork yet.

If you looked at the paperwork, you'd see nothing different.

Before another month passes, it will mark 1 year since my DUI arrest — I was discovered unconscious in my work truck after consuming 17 pressed Xanax pills over the course of a work day. That capped off a week-long bender, just 1 of the hundreds I went through.

My birth year is 1999. As a kid I was depressed and ahead of my years, raised by a narcissistic mother and a bipolar father, and we grew up on welfare because we had almost nothing. After their 2013 divorce, I lived with my dad, whose bipolar disorder got worse. He turned abusive. We relocated to Florida to live with my wonderful stepmom, but unfortunately I got pulled into drug addiction as a way to escape, starting in 2016. By 2017, meth and fentanyl were in the picture.

During the internet's golden era, I abused multiple substances and consumed dozens of research chemicals and their combinations. Harm reduction and pharmacology science were huge interests of mine, and I began taking vitamins around that same period. That later turned out to be useful. 2019 was likely the lowest point, though my memory of it is hazy. I smoked crack and injected drugs intravenously then, and in January 2020 a full bipolar manic episode landed me in court-ordered rehab for 4 months.

It made a difference. I "wanted" to get clean. I attended AA. I got off meth and stayed off it. I moved in with a friend and got out of that county, and 2021-2023 were solid years. I fell for his sister and we dated for close to 2 years. Then things got harder. I began going out on weekends, taking Adderall, Xanax, molly, and LSD — typically all in 1 night — plus drinking. In 2024, another manic episode hit, this time with no drugs involved, while on a family vacation, and I had to fly back from Belize.

I moved in with my family and left my job to escape, but the drugs came along. Cocaine and other pills came into the mix, before I went back to Xanax to "deal with the stress of work".

Before another month passes, it will mark 1 year of sobriety for me.

With no way to get work, stuck in a Florida subdivision without a ride, and on probation for a second DUI, I focused on my health and recovery while benefiting from living with family. I began walking and attempting to run. But the heavy cocaine benders before the arrest had damaged my heart. Getting to where I could jog 1 mile probably took 6 months of work.

I'd been looking into ozempic, and I knew what reta was but not how to obtain or inject it. My stepmom began getting it from a medspa, and I soon saw she was being ripped off, so I took over sourcing for her. The price gap was so huge that she was glad to share her peptides with me. I started shedding weight rapidly — 4lbs per week once I began reta in March. Peptides turned into a deep rabbit hole, and my passion for nutrition and supplements was reignited and expanded. Nutrition research is far simpler today than it once was.

Anyway, forget all of that. I came out on top. I like what I see in the mirror now. I like how I feel when I get up. I like how I treat the people around me and how I view the future now.

In February, a letter arrived telling me an ESOP account from my former company had a $13,000 vested balance. Over the past few months I managed to access it. I cleared every legal fee and fine, repaid my family for their help, and bought a round trip to Massachusetts for the end of the year. That's where my new life begins.

I also dropped about $700 on vitamins and roughly $1000 on peptides and other goodies.

No regrets whatsoever. I didn't even need the testosterone I purchased — L-Carnitine elevated my HCG so much that I feel like I'm on full blown TRT. I put together an elaborate stack plan to heal my heart, mind, and body from all those years of abuse, and it all worked out.

I'm taking 30+ different vitamins and minerals, all before leaving the house each morning. 2 rounds of water solubles, 1 round of powders in liquid, then a round of fat solubles after breakfast. I'm on 9 different peptides + HGH, about 7 pins per day. I get out of bed whenever it's go time, ready for the day. I feel fast, powerful, quiet, healthy, and content. Feeling this good without it being a sign of bipolar mania is strange — that part of me is gone now. When I do hard physical labor, I don't really tire, I don't really ache or stiffen, and I can push far past the point of failure. And at night, I set the phone down, put on the mask, and I sleep like a baby.

Once I get bloods and stay on the stacks longer, I'll update in other forums so other members can gain from the days and days of obsessive unemployed research I did for the peps and hormones, and so others can gain from the decade of experience I've had researching vitamins and supplements that led to this stack.

Going for a run now. Gonna put the phone on vibrate and stick it up my ass.

Shout out to @Bunnyfoofoo for being an amazing mom, @Calm Logic for hooking me up with the group buys, and @gusterbuster for making TRT sound so rad (even though I ended up not needing oils yet)

I'm thrilled beyond words for you, and the energy and wisdom you bring will wind up improving countless lives. Wishing you all the best as you head into your next chapter in Massachusetts — that's where I did my undergrad, and it's a truly wonderful state. Have a great time living there!

This forum is where I go just to find genuine accounts from people’s lives like this one. That’s something you can’t find in other places. Thanks for telling us your story, and congrats on reaching something so impressive. It makes me genuinely glad for you.

During today's run, I felt sexy. Time for the reveal.

"Until I feel good taking selfies" and "until I feel comfortable looking in the mirror" were always my target weight.

Still, I can't wait to continue cutting! The first week of GH has been amazing, and I'm very excited to see what 6 months will bring.

Thanks for letting us in on the hard parts as well as the happy parts of where you've been. You're a real inspiration, and I'm certain whoever needed those words will come across them and really absorb them. Hope your day turns out absolutely excellent!!

It's great that you're dedicating this much effort toward becoming a healthier version of yourself.

Small daily adjustments accumulate into major transformations over the long run!

Obstacles will come up, but getting ready for them makes them simpler to handle, and that preparation begins with your wellbeing!

Congratulations!

I never could have predicted how much better life would be in good health. These days, I actually have spare hours. It's just 2pm, yet I've already accomplished a great deal — it feels as though time has slowed down. Every sense has gotten sharper, including my vision. Being around other people has become far less difficult. The social anxiety hasn't completely disappeared, but the fear-driven anxiety is no longer there, and neither is that uncomfortable awkwardness that comes from lacking the energy to engage with others.

Now I get what is meant by "push past the point of failure." Now I get how someone can handle demanding, high-paying physical jobs. My body finally has real value.

@birdwhacker , I've kept up with every one of your threads documenting the experiments you run and the outcomes you see. Those are a pleasure to read. It's great that things are going so well for you. Stay a badass, sir. For what it's worth, some stranger on the internet (that's me) takes pride in where you've gotten and what you're pulling off.

Much appreciated. My apologies for staying quiet while getting things done 🤣

I need to start another thread to admit I was wrong about HCG.

For the record, HCG genuinely functions as an effective form of TRT and delivers the aggression/libido boost that's promised! The catch is you need roughly a month of use, plus a solid dose of DIM/calcium D glucarate for estrogen control, and L-Carnitine Tartrate to push results further! Hormonal acne comes along with it too (though that only showed up once the carnitine was added)

Well, that caught me off guard...opening this thread and seeing that was not something I saw coming. Still, what a win! Packing all of that into such a short stretch (coming from a Gen X elder goth here) is no small thing, yet you made it through on top, and with any luck there are plenty of ass-kicking years still in front of you.

HCG by itself, that was a solid option.

From what I've picked up, hormone therapy of any type needs months before you notice anything.

Which means certain effects show up fast; acne.

Others take their time; body composition, metabolism, mind clarity

Have fun with your post’s threads ect.

honestly it's a bit wild, right after starting HCG the very first time, libido improved almost instantly for me, and within week 1 I also got a single hormonal acne spot.

a few months afterward, when I gave it a second try, no hormonal acne showed up at all during the whole run. once I'd been saturated for roughly a month, recovery time made it clear my test was somewhat elevated, yet it still wasn't producing the kind of shifts you'd associate with trt.

the real turn came only once L-Carnitine tartrate was added: overnight I developed 3 or 4 hormonal acne spots, and inside roughly 3 days my whole mood and personality changed.

as for libido, the difference has been honestly amazing. these days I watch porn far less often and feel way more drawn to actual women in real life. overall I'm just extremely pleased with all of it.

When it comes to hormone replacement therapy (which includes HCG and SARMs), a few months may pass before every effect becomes apparent. Typically, the earliest sign is more oil on the skin (acne) together with a lift in mood (and higher libido). Shifts in metabolic rate need much more time, since they hinge on a slower chain of events, like rising thyroid output.

For the majority of the most obvious changes, around 3 months pass before an equilibrium settles in. That is why TRT usually comes with a 12 week follow-up appointment.

Nice work, fellow glp1'er — you're looking good — sharing this takes guts! You've still got youth on your side, so you can leave all of this in the past....just stay cautious — handle every day as it comes — assume nothing — the brink is never far off....keep successful people around you — and your headspace will stay solid...one day at a time is what your journey is made of....have fun with that hgh !

🙂
