Hi all!

Something I've been wondering about. After watching what Reta did for me, my wife is keen to begin. One snag: she's three weeks out from breast augmentation surgery and doesn't know whether it might interfere with how she heals. Any thoughts?

This is really something to bring up with your own doctors — there are far too many factors at play. Taking guidance from strangers online can put you at risk. Things might look different 6 or 12 months from now, but at this point, stay in close contact with your physician.

I doubt any physician would recommend an unapproved medication under any circumstances.

I was curious whether anyone here began GLP-1 receptor agonist or Reta therapy following an operation.

This marks my 3rd round. By now I pause 2 weeks ahead of the procedure and resume 2 weeks afterward. That window is what I'm comfortable with. When I restart, I go back to a very low dose: 1mg of Tirz plus 1mg of Reta. In my view, things like BPC and TB would help more, though Reta does work well for shedding pounds. For inflammation, I'd say Tirz has the edge. I've got 100 syringes already loaded that I'm using.

I'd give her more time to recover before starting. If her appetite gets suppressed too much, she might not take in the nutrients she needs, and that could slow down or complicate her healing.

It's likely better to handle recovery first and then cut calories, rather than doing both at the same time.

I've gone through multiple operations lately, so I can share a few observations about what my surgeons think regarding going back on glp1s. Every one of them advised waiting 2-3 weeks, largely so I'd be past the window of greatest concern for unforeseen anesthesia complications after surgery. Still, the smartest move is to check with the surgeon directly. Simply tell them she's considering starting a glp1 and ask what timing would work. At a cosmetic surgery clinic, that's a question they field every day.

I'm with you on that. I'm currently recovering from an operation myself, and I've been cutting back far less on protein, calories, and food overall than I normally would, since I need to fully heal.

I really appreciate this — it's precisely the information I needed.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your thoughts; they've been a big help.

There are 100 of them, already preloaded — but preloaded with what exactly? I'm just wondering, thanks.

The whole kit and caboodle! I figured somebody might bite. KLOW, PPS, IGF-1 LR3, Tirz & Reta, CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin, plus some elevated initial doses of BPC-157 & TB500. Once surgery is done, I'm holding off for 72 hours before beginning. Let the strong meds wear off, confirm all systems are functioning properly, do a fresh bandage swap, that sort of thing. Should something go sideways, I don't want to sit there wondering which injection caused it. My procedure was a Rotator cuff repair along with Bicep reattachment. The sling stays on for 6-8 weeks, and there's a ton of rehab ahead.

Last April I underwent a complete reverse replacement of my right shoulder, so I get it. Back then, peptides were completely off my radar.

I was my mom's support through both of her replacement surgeries, so I understand where you're coming from. That's exactly the path both of my shoulders were on if I'd done nothing about them. The right one (my dominant side) came 1st, but the left is the worse of the two, so that one gets done next year. Fun stuff!

The surgeon who operated on my shoulder is among the top 5 in the country. I would go through it again. Nice work with you and your mom.
