Week 1 was 1mg...and I got nothing from it.

Week 2 I bumped to 2mg. No sides, no appetite change, zilch.

Week 3, which is now, I took 3mg. And yeah...turns out the only thing I get this week is mild nausea. That's not the kind of appetite suppression I was after.

Sunday I'll drop back down to 2mg. But ouch. This week I couldn't get any workouts in and food has felt like a task...not much fun at all.

For context....50 M. 242 at 6'1. Target is 210. I've always trained and have a bigger build...so I hold a fair bit of weight. At 210 I'd look pretty lean.

Lesson learned.

Before starting any peptide, checking its half-life is a smart move. For compounds with extended half-lives such as reta, a GLP1 plotter helps you see how blood levels accumulate past the dose you actually injected. Steady-state for a given dose takes 4 weeks to establish, so spacing steps at 5 weeks or more is the better approach. After that 3 mg shot, your body was holding roughly 4.09 mg. If you search this forum for GLP plotter, you'll find a link to a very good tracking tool. A few apps offer the same function (though certain ones had privacy terms I wasn't comfortable with).

I slipped up in the same way. Glad that the stall I'd been stuck at on Tirzepatide finally gave way, but the fatigue and allodynia came on strong and quickly. After a solid year of regular workouts, I all but stopped because I had no energy or drive. I'm dropping back to 3mg for a while, accepting a bit of weight regain, just to get myself steady again.

Back in May, I pulled the same stunt with Tirz. The dose bump was a touch too aggressive, and my system flat-out refused.

That week was rough. Still, it taught me to genuinely respect the importance of restraint. And because I now know how ugly things can get, I haven't made that same move again. My suggestion for this week: keep your fluids up and steer clear of foods that could cause trouble. Sorry you're feeling awful. Just remember, this will pass soon🙂
