Trying a new compound without committing to a full kit — how do you do it?

Over the last couple of months I've wanted to trial allsorts — I've had Reta, Tirz, Mots, CJC+Ipa, and right now Tesa, Semax, Selank and Klow are sitting ready. All of it had to come from single vial sellers, and half of it arrived with no COA (yes, I know that makes me an idiot and I'm gambling). The thing is, I don't want to order a kit form China, wait a month for delivery, discover I don't get on with it or that it does nothing at all, and then be stuck with 9.x vials of the stuff.

So how do you guys handle this? Do you test with single vials, or does everyone just buy kits even when it's only a test?

I've been reading a few threads on here about group buys, but I don't reckon that's a go-er — I wouldn't even know where to begin, and from what I gather the process could drag on even longer.

It sort of feels like my current approach is to buy 1x vial of whatever I want to try from one of the UK online single vial sellers for a fortune, for pretty much the cost of a kit from China (it seems like across the board here they are 10x'ing their money by charging for a single vial what a kit costs, seems they price fix near enough across every site I can find), if I like it, then I have to add it to a mental shopping cart for when I do another bulk purchase from China as it doesn't make sense to pay $50 shipping for example for a $90 kit.

If you become part of a UK-based group, you can request a single vial to sample.
 
check out the larger group buy telegrams. the organizers usually pick up several kits of each product they carry, and those groups tend to run extra testing that smart buyers can join, and then bam. they end up with tested kits and typically sell individual vials at around 2-4x the per-vial price inside the kits. so roughly $20-30mg tirz and $25-30mg reta. that's my approach when i only want a sample of something new or need a top up while waiting on a shipment
 
To me, getting just 1 vial doesn't make sense, since IMO a lot of common protocols need more than 1 vial before you can distinguish actual effects from placebo. So I skip the small stuff and order a whole kit.

Certain GBs let you buy half-kits, which is one way to go and saves money. A few GBs also have overstock, so you can pick up tested single vials for way less than what a local source with a flashy website charges.

B/S/T channels and groups are out there, but IMO once you're at that point you might as well go with a local source, because their prices are roughly the same and sometimes the COA isn't reliable. I've watched people offload failed batches at absurd prices and toss in filters as if that would actually change anything smh.
 
At the start, my wallet took a real beating for those first few months. After that, I found my stack and now I just top it up every 2 months or so. There is one issue I have: ordering. I constantly need to have another package on the way, because that's what keeps my Dopamine and Serotonin receptors happy. Hearing that FedEx truck pull up is pure music to my ears.
