Has anyone measured, even roughly, how much volume you end up with when TR60 is combined with 3mL of BAC? Without using a big needle to move it into another vial, what method could tell you the total? I tried the dose calculator site, but the result doesn't look right to me (or at least not in my head). Once 3mL goes into 60mg, the volume isn't 3mL anymore.
Thanks!
Do you mean the total liquid amount when 60 mg tirz is combined with 3 ml BAC? The result will be slightly above 3 ml, though that small gap shouldn’t be a concern. Like you mentioned, if you truly need the exact figure, the only way is to pull everything into a 5 ml mixing syringe and check the markings. Because that syringe is sterile, re-injecting the contents back into the same vial should be fine.
Suppose you measure something like 3.25 ml — then the math gets more involved. At that level of precision, you’d also have to factor in the batch’s tested overfill, assuming that number is reliable and actually applies to your vial.
My approach would be to keep it simple: 60 mg with 3 ml BAC gives 20 mg/ml. Work out your dose from that. Inject. If the vial ends up giving you 15-30 “extra” units, treat it as a bonus.
