Happy Fathers Day to everyone marking the occasion today — though honestly, every single day deserves that recognition, since none of us knows which one will be our last. What I'm about to share isn't easy to put into words...

4 years back, I attempted to end my own life. After that, I turned to eating as a way to cope, put on a significant amount of weight, and my activity dropped to essentially nothing — no job, no bike rides, no walks. Even the short trip escorting my daughter to school left me gasping, needing to pause along a route that brief.

My entire life, I've carried a massive fear of removing my shirt around other people. Trips to the hospital for my heart reduced me to tears — not from the pain, but because I had to bare my chest in front of a nurse. It has always made me deeply uneasy; even with partners, I kept my top on. That's how I ended up finding GLP1Chat, and all of you — the men and women here — have backed me in ways I could never have pictured!

Today delivered a kind of light I believed I'd lost for good. Across only 14 weeks, I've dropped 58 pounds. These days I walk every day with no trouble at all, ride 20-30km twice weekly, and my mental health has recovered through using GLP's (5/5mg Reta and Triz)

So here it is... not a shirtless shot, but everything I do is for my Daughter, and I won't ever turn back. The mere thought that she could have been without a father today is what keeps me from ever going down that road again ❤️

Wishing you a wonderful Fathers Day!! Don't forget to take a moment to reflect on all the progress you've made, then gaze at her face and commit to giving your all, so that you can remain present for her!

Happy Father's Day. Some of that road is familiar to me too. More than once I attempted to end my life. Being mocked nonstop about my weight from childhood onward wore me down. Still, God's grace kept me alive. Glp rescued me as well. These days, whatever people say rolls right off me.

It's good that you're still around to share what happened.

I'm right there with you! Let's both keep pushing through ❤️

This is such a lovely post! It brings me joy to see you feeling happier and improving so much. Life can be dark, and making it through that is a genuine achievement... and so is that amazing loss!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Fathers Day!! Wow, nearly 60 lbs down, and you’ll be there for your family!

Depression truly can take a heavy toll. One of my sons deals with it, and the single best thing he’s done for his mental health was starting to exercise—it brings out those natural endorphins.

I don’t know you, so this might sound superficial, but I’m very proud of you for not giving up on yourself or your family.

Wishing you a joyful Father's Day. You've always got someone in your corner. Feel free to reach out whenever.

Life can be tough sometimes...But that adorable little one by your side makes everything brighter, and the happiness she gives can chase away the gloom....You're truly fortunate... 👍 🙂

Happy Father's Day. I'm glad you're still here with us. Speaking as one dad to another - in your children's eyes, you're a hero, no matter what self-doubt, negative thoughts or past struggles you carry. To them, none of that counts; they love you and need you for who you are today and who you'll be tomorrow! Congrats and all the best.
