I've been using GLP for 2 years now. 75 lbs are gone, but another 30-35 still need to come off. Over the past year my progress has slowed a lot (though it was never quick to begin with). These days I'm lucky to drop 1 lb/month. There have been multiple stalls, and some months where the scale didn't move at all. On the plus side, I've clearly built muscle! I feel good about my body and about the direction I'm heading. What I want now is to shed this final stretch and reach my goal. My BMI sits at 30 right now.

My tirz supply will last another 4 months. I'm considering adding cagri to push past these repeated stalls. After 2 years on this, I feel like I need something extra. I'm at 12.5mg currently. Tried 15 and noticed no change.

Curious whether anyone here stacks the two. Also wondering: if calories drop a lot, what happens during maintenance? Right now I'm at roughly 1600 cals/day and lifting 3 days a week.

Hey.

When I hit a plateau, I also introduced Cagri into my Tirz protocol. It appeared to get the scale moving once more, but at this point I'm hunting for a maintenance approach that suits me. I was on 15mg Tirz at the point of my stall, and that's when Cagri came in. I began with 0.5, moved to 1.0, and nothing changed, so I went up to 2.5mg and then results began to show. From my own experience, Cagri left me quite fatigued for several days after each dose. I'm now considering stopping it and attempting to hold steady on Tirz by itself. Results can differ from person to person, but Cagri is effective and it does come with certain side effects. All the best.

Thanks! About 10 mos of sema gave me no sides and tirz hasn't produced any either. Sides aren't something I'm too worried about, but throwing my money away isn't appealing either!

From what I've experienced, Cagri was effective, but like I mentioned, after trying a few smaller doses I figured "the hell with it" and jumped to 2.5mg, which I'd read was the maximum. So I wouldn't call trying it a waste of your money.

Four weeks back I began adding cagri on top of tirz, and in that time roughly 6 pounds have come off. Before starting, my rate of loss had dropped a lot. Given that, buying a cagri kit and testing how your body responds seems clearly worthwhile. A kit of cagri doesn't cost much, and the amount you'd actually use is small. My strong advice is to ease in gradually. While you're ordering, I'd pick up another tirz kit as well. Even if the scale hasn't moved much lately (or at all), chances are you also haven't put weight back on, and tirzepatide is what's holding that line.

I'm beginning Cagri this week. When you introduced Cagri, did your Tirz dosage change? My plan is to begin with 250 mcg and inject it 4 days following my Tirz. A lot of people seem to space their doses across different days so the appetite suppression stretches further. Do I really need to do that?

I've also got some Reta on hand should this not pan out. My tirz supply will last roughly 2 more months. That ought to count as a fair trial, right?

Well, my Cagri trial WAS meant to begin tonight, but I'm still working my way through compounded meds, and a fresh vial from a different pharmacy has rebooted my weight loss all by itself. There is still some way to go, so the cagri waits in my back pocket for whenever the next big stall hits nearer to goal.

Approaching week 3 of combining Cagri with tirz. First dose was 250mcg, followed by an additional 250mcg 4 days afterward. Last week I went with 500 mcg. Results have been minimal—only .5 lbs lost over the past 2 weeks. Thinking about jumping straight to 1mg tomorrow.

Let us know how it goes! I'm considering the same approach you're taking.

My situation is roughly the same. I've moved Tirz from 10 to 12, and it's now at 15mg/6D. There's also some low dose Reta thrown in for good measure. (Yesterday I bumped the Reta from 4 up to 6mg/6D.)

As for Cagri: 500mcg/6D for 2 months, then 1mg/6D for just under a month, followed by 2mg/6D for a month; the day after tomorrow I'm raising the Cagri to 3mg/6D.

The scale hasn't given a clear answer yet, but the readings taken between my official weigh-ins do appear to point toward downward movement once more.

Did you keep tirz at the same level while introducing cagri? My current routine is tirz15/reta6mg weekly, with a small amount of cagri at 0.25 every 4 days. To me, cagri seems to affect hunger only marginally, and going above that dose brings on nausea. These are purely for maintenance in my case—I had already taken off the bulk of the weight a couple of years prior to beginning glp's—but I've gone from 145 down to 64kg.

Should cagri deliver a solid effect with no side effects and reduce calorie intake, that's presumably the goal for breaking the stall. Once you reach your target, or if intake falls too far, you can simply lower the dose again. I'd lean toward agreeing that giving cagri a try first is the most logical route, rather than bringing in reta or switching over to it—particularly when tirz gives you no side effects at all and has already done a good job taking 75 lbs off.
