Tesamorelin turned into gel / jelly-like substance

I bought 1 vial of Tesamorelin to test out before committing to a full kit. I followed the instructions exactly and mixed it this morning, everything seemed fine so I put it in the fridge to inject before bed.

When I went to stab myself just now, the vial is literally jelly / solid. I left it sitting out for a good half hour and it hasn't changed form at all.

I went back over each step against what I was told for mixing and I'm confident I did it correctly so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Has anyone else had this happen?

I was told to mix as attached and when I looked into it further Chatgpt said the directions are right and Google tells me to never mix acetic acid with it so again 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes this came from a reseller, yes I've already given myself a hard time for just blindly doing what I was told 😅
 
What amounts of Tesa and bac water were used for your recon? That attachment is for Mots.....
 
It occurred with my initial 2 vials.... the bac I had was roughly 60days old, aqua science if I remember right. Once I switched to a new vial from a different bac brand, everything was g2g.... tesa's ph range has to be narrow, as the above poster said.

More often than not, this points to a problem with the BAC water.
 
I just received tessa, and I'm about to give it a go, well, almost. Lol. I'm using hospira with a 10mg 3ml vial, how much bac should I put in, and what would the total iu's come out to? My plan is to begin at 1 iu per day, then bump up to 2 after a week or two

For a 10mg vial I added 2ml bac. A 1mg dose works out to 20 units, while a 2mg dose works out to 40 units.

There is definitely no acetic acid involved. When tesamorelin gels up like that, it usually means the vendor put in the wrong excipients. You should request your money back.
 
There are a few possible reasons for this, and one of them is keeping the reconstituted tesa in the fridge instead of at room temperature. Opinions differ on this point, but it might be worth testing.

Another thing I've come across is that using too little bac water when reconstituting tesa can make it stack on itself and become a gel-like substance.

The bac water itself could also be the culprit. Right now I'm pinning tesa without the acetic acid. My vials are 5 mg and I reconstitute them with 1 ml bac. If it were me, for a 20 mg vial I'd go with 4ml (low ph) bac. Even so, my tesa came out a bit cloudy (it never gelled though), and after I filter it, it's crystal clear. My vendor told me to use sterile water, but I'm satisfied with how it looks once filtered.

Finally, it's possible you simply ended up with a bad batch. Have you given a different bac water a try? If you haven't brought this up with the vendor yet, I definitely would.

What exactly are you referring to? For tesa it's iu, Mg's are used for tesa, and hgh is measured in iu.
 
She's shipping a replacement vial my way. Like I mentioned, I picked up a single one to test out before committing to a full kit. This time I'll skip the acetic acid and stick with just BAC water, so fingers crossed. 🤞
