Tesa experience?

Lyophilized tesamorelin is not degraded by freezing and should be stored in the freezer for maximum life.

Cosign. @Bioexplorer is correct. I have read you don't freeze HGH. But you SHOULD freeze your not-reconstituted tesa.

The reason you aren't noticing much is because GH peptides take longer to notice effects compared to testosterone or GLPs. And tesa effects are limited at best compared to study subjects with low IGF-1.

Lyophilized HGH is safe to freeze, and the same is true of tesa. Pharma instructions to not freeze lyophilized tesa are more for the FDA than anything else, but there is some grain of truth:

Personally, I freeze my lyophilized peptides in $3 Thermos soup jars from Goodwill. But a smidge of potential degradation is not an issue.

Interesting. What's the virtue of the Thermos jars? Limiting condensation/moisture? I keep my freezer peps in ziplock bags (and in just the ten-pack plastic kit cases the vendors send them in within the ziploc) with some desiccant packs (and usually a rotating new paper towel or two I replace once or twice a week). Intrigued by the Thermos jar idea.

I'm taking 2MG Tesamorelin along with 4MG of Retatrutide. I started with the Reta first, lost about 12 lbs, 185 to 173.

Added in the Tesa about 1 month afterwards and my weight loss has completely stalled. I fluctuate between 173 and 177, today at 175.

I know it adds water weight, but I've been on Tesa for at least a month now.

However I do look leaner, and can see my love handles and belly fat definitely shrinking.

I did not measure myself around those areas so I don't know how many inches I might be down.

I would still like to see the scale reflect that, and my goal is pretty modest, 170, being 5'9" and muscular I lift weights and workout etc every day. I slowly titrated up the Reta started at 1 increased it .5 MG every other week. I'm hitting my protein goals, near my body weight in grams. Calories are usually between 1500- 1900 per day. I'm a very consistent eater, and track everything I eat.

Am I not eating enough or will the water weight eventually stabilize?

Insulation to prevent any temperature fluctuations during an auto-defrost cycle.

Keep going. Your water weight will start to reduce after about 4 to 5 weeks and may take 7 weeks to resolve. This is what happened to me.

Thanks, definitely keeping the faith. Burning through this though 10 vials flew by, waiting for my next delivery which got delayed.

hey whats the update @PickleWitch ? It was back in April you started. How did things go from there?

I decided to take a break. I felt really bloated on it, and I had a lot of summer plans, bathing suits, etc. that I didn’t want to be bloated in. I only went for a month; plan to give it a longer go this fall.

My understanding is that one should pin at night to align with body's natural GH release but I also see the reason of taking it in the morning if one is taking also a GLP1.

If you pin Tesa in the morning, do you still have a positive effect on sleep and recovery? What is your experience?

Tesamorelin: what side effects did you experience ?

What dosage worked for you?

I ran Tesa for a little bit and honestly I liked it. Didn’t really have any major problems with it. If I do another run, I’ll probably go a little higher on the dose and do Monday-Friday, then take the weekend off.

The only thing that made me stop was the water retention. I started holding some water and it kinda freaked me out, so I backed off before I gave it a full run. Other than that, my experience with it was pretty solid.

I am taking Reta and with my schedule I am not eating my last meal until 8pm many nights so I thought I would start using Tesa in the morning and have a split dose of ipamorelin of one AM dose and one PM dose. I do my resistance training and cardio in the morning so I thought if we have lipolysis maybe the morning workouts will be advantageous to a morning pin of tesa

I am on week 7 of my Tesa/Ipa cycle (just started my 5th vial) and my sleep has been fine. I do take magnesium glycinate and my Ipa dose right before bed though so that I think is a contributing factor to me having pretty good sleep.

I have been tracking my chest/waist/hip measurements since the beginning of my taking Tesa/Ipa and I am seeing a decrease in all three measurements. My weight loss has stalled/slowed down though. I believe due to water retention which I visible in my lower legs. Otherwise I am having a positive experience with this peptide and am looking to source more for future cycles

Is Hunter full of poop?

I hope someone can come up with some definitive answer (it's still in the freezer with all it's friends!)

The makers of the FDA approved version say to store at room temperature in a dark place. They claim a expiration of 36 months from date of manufacture.

The FDA approved data, is certified to 2 years at fridge temperature. additional data has been shown to be good for at least 18 months after that when stored in a fridge.

Research peptide manufacturers often do store peptides in freezers and HPL tests have been completed on many other peptides showing that Freezer temperatures does not affect the peptide and that it shows less degradation than fridge or room temperature storage.

There is nothing I could find about Tesamorelin in particular. I dont think there would be an issue freezing it, but I wouldnt risk freezing it unless I needed more than 3 years storage. Just on the shelf, should be good for at least that.

Thank you for all that info, I feel much better about my stash now!

Here's an update after 5 weeks on 1mg tesamorelin. I increased from 5/2 to daily for the last 3 weeks. I'm also taking reta and just went from 5mg to 6mg a week ago. 69yo male currently at 170lbs with 10 or 15 lbs to go. Lift hard 3x a week to near failure and gaining about 2% strength per week across all sets. Also on a measly 50mg week testosterone cypionate for a couple decades.

Scale finally started dropping again last week after a 1 month stall. Just got my blood test results today with IGF-1 at 355 and 2.7 z score. Oops. Unfortunately I was stupid and didn't get a baseline IGF-1. No adverse side effects but I will immediately switch back to weekday Tesa and retest in a month.

Side note that total testosterone measured 764 with 98 free. Substantially higher than my last test of a year ago before reta and Tesa and 30 pounds heavier. This was using the accurate MS test. I'm pretty happy with these results but need to reduce IGF-1 a bit.

ETA I pin Tesa first thing in the morning and immediately have my first of 2 mugs of black coffee. I don't buy into that theory that cortisol spike from caffeine blunts the Tesa effect.

Hey guys been reading some people say tesamorelin grows moles, had anyone experienced this?

Where did you read this? Or what people are saying that?

I know a few instances where people believed this was happening. It turned out that it was mix up with the peptides and not in fact Tesa they were taking.

I haven’t seen any evidence of this otherwise. I would be interested if there was.

Are you taking tesa the evening prior to your IGF-1 blood draw? To obtain a true baseline, you ought to omit that dose, since an injection causes an artificial, short-lived surge in growth hormone output. If what you're after is your genuine baseline or the steady-state level while on treatment, then pause or miss the dose the night before.

Thanks for sharing that. I had no idea—I assumed IGF-1 behaved like hbA1c, reflecting a long-term average. Turns out it's even more misleading, because I injected just 1 hour before the blood draw! What a waste of $24.

Still, it's a relief that my IGF-1 is probably in the normal range, so there's no reason to adjust the dose. Seeing such a high IGF-1 on half the therapeutic dose did seem far-fetched. I'll simply retest in a month. I really should have done more reading before beginning Tesa.

After digging deeper, my conclusion is that taking tesamorelin 1 hour prior to a blood draw should barely move IGF-1 readings. Had I been testing actual growth hormone levels, the spike would be massive and the numbers useless beyond confirming the Tesa was real.

IGF-1, though, takes much longer to respond. I skipped the citations, but every AI model I asked returned the same guidance...it's preferable to push the dose back until after the draw, yet retesting isn't necessary. Those earlier results still reflect my situation, and my level is too high. I'll stick with the plan I already had: cut back to 5/2.
