What supplements are you taking with Reta? and which ones you felt like it helped? I'm feeling like I'm running a pharmacy at this point

I'm taking

omega 3s

d3-k2

Essential amino acids

NMNs

creatine along side my protein shakes

magnesium glycinate and ashwagandha before sleep

Psyllium Husk

multi vitamin

and I try to get an electrolyte packet when I can.

Creatine, zinc, nac, eaas, electrolytes daily, curcummin, coq10, naringin, vitamin d3, omega fish oil, multi vits, biotin, magnesium glycinate, pre-workout, vitamin c.

Double scoop protein shake.

I think that’s it for now.

Ask yourself if you really need all of thosd supplements on an individual basis. If your answer is yes to all of them than keep that pharmacy open 24/7. Better to be taking 101 supplements now than to be taking 101 medications later.

Based on your list, all your supps have been well studied and safe to take on the daily. This is what wellness or preventive care looks like. It doesn't have to be so holistic like social media wants us to believe. As long as you're not overdoing the dosages I see nothing wrong 👍

Run into a bit of a stall with reta - I've done some reading - mentions taking omegas, zinc & berberine keeps the receptors open - so that's what I'm taking.

I’m a woman, and I’ve never had any hair loss problems before using Reta. It’s definitely because of Reta. Also, biotin is a hair supplement, and protein can help too.

I have one and use it 3 times per week. I can't say I have noticed much new hair growth, but it has definitely almost stopped any hair loss. For instance, after a shampoo I might find 5 or 6 hairs in my brush instead of the 50 or so that used to fall out.

I’ve gone through cycles in my life taking piles of supplements. I much prefer keeping things simple and I just focus on eating good real foods, then all I supplement with:

Electrolytes with water when I wake up (I’ve tried several and prefer something with only 500mg of sodium, did not like the drink mixed like LMNT that have 1,000mg). A pre-workout mix before lifting or cardio. I’ve been tinkering with the brand Perfect Aminos drink mix mid-day. Then I take a sleep supplement before bed that has zinc, magnesium, and some other stuff in it.

Hair supplements, lots of hair loss with reta

This is anecdotal as I'm an ageing male, I have noted more hair loss over the last year which coincides with reta use. Also on DHT blocker and diet / protein is on point. But I don't think there are any studies that point to reta being a cause, I'm hoping its just my body in some form of shock from losing weight faster, and that it will stabilise as I move towards my target weight

Supplements are to supplement what your not getting in your diet/life. Example omega3, if you eat fish regularly you do not need omega3. If you get out in the su regularly, you do not need to suppliment vitamin d.

I do not eat anything but meat. zero fruits and veggies. I take milk thistle, tudca, magnesium and oil oil. I have never been healthier.

Reta brought on cramping. Something I rarely had before in any muscle. But now it starts in my thumbs first, very weird. Electrolytes are a must for me and do provide relief. I use Nutricost fruit punch electrolytes every day with fair results. But it takes pounding the potassium pills to provide complete relief for a few days.

I suspect it is the diuretic effect of Reta.
