Nothing useful came up when I searched the forums, so I figured I'd post the question here.

Options for BAC water around Sweden - and probably the wider Nordics, though I could be wrong - look thin on the ground. Searching for a BAC water supply that's actually easy to buy here turns up one thing: an Amazon listing. And Amazon is about the last place I'd trust for anything medical or supplement related.

So how are the rest of you in Sweden and around the Nordics handling this? Is there a dependable supplier I've overlooked, or is brewing your own the norm?

Just mix it yourself.

All it takes is sterile water (Braun, for instance), some benzyl alcohol, and a few empty sterile vials.

If you go the mixing route with empty sterile vials, how long would it keep?

Get your aseptic/sterile technique right (a clean work surface, that sort of thing) and a vial you've just brewed should hold for a couple of years.

As soon as needles start going into it - in other words, once you're using it - aim to keep it somewhere between 28 days (that's the USP requirement) and 56 days (merely my own view). Watch for it turning cloudy, or anything floating around inside; either one means it's time to throw it out.

A Swedish brand does stock it over on AZ. You may as well take a look and judge for yourself whether the company seems trustworthy. https://amzn.eu/d/0g4iTNtY
I've bought from them.

What you're getting is a reseller rather than the maker. The labels were decidedly unprofessional - half of them cut off - and the CoA left me unconvinced. (I'm fairly sure I put a picture up somewhere on this forum).

At the money they're asking, that's a hard NO from me.

Honestly, my advice is to steer clear of Amazon entirely. I can show you other BAC bought there that turned out badly.

Which is exactly why I began brewing my own.

€1 for a single ml 🤮

DrPepr's advice is the right one - brew your own.

Here's the Benzyl I use:

For the water side of things, ask for "Braun Aqua Pro Inj." or "Aqua Sterop" and take the 50ml size. Just don't accidentally buy the saline (NaCl) one. Prices run €2.20 to €3.25 per 50ml vial before shipping.

That works out under €4 for 50ml of BAC. Anything still sitting there past 2 months, bin it. At those prices you could bin it after a month and not care.

Method: add 0.5ml of benzyl per 50ml vial and you're good to go.

Whenever I'm over in the Nordics I have mine forwarded from the UK. Making my own had crossed my mind, only I'm not that sure about the quality of sterile water. Seeing other people manage it, though, I'll certainly give it a go

What I do is make up a 10% BA stock in sterile water first. Then 1 ml of that stock goes into 10 ml of sterile water, which lands the concentration at 0.91% v/v. Ordinary sterile water ampules are all I need for it. Less waste that way.

Lab practice is generally the reverse - solvent gets added until you hit the target volume. It's more exact, but for our peptides that precision buys you nothing. All we actually need is to sit somewhere between 0.8% and 1.5%. In any case, my kit won't do any better.

Did you mean 0.1ml into 10ml (or 1ml into 100ml)?

I did consider the 10ml plastic "flapule", but it struck me as more faff than it's worth. Extra work, a tinier dose of Benzyl, more vials, more syringes and so on..

As it stands I use 1 large 50ml vial, a single 0.5ml syringe and an alcohol swab, and I'm set for more than a month.

Being able to buy the sterile water in 30ml glass vials would be nicer still, since there'd be less waste.

Mixing a 10% Benzyl Alcohol Stock Solution

1. draw 1ml out of a 10ml vial of sterile water (the plastic Aqua ones work fine)

2. put 1ml of USP BA 99.95% into the 9ml of water

You now have 10 ml of 10% stock BA (store it in a 10ml sterile vial)

Mixing a solution at ~ 0.9% Benzyl Alcohol

1. put 1ml of the 10% stock BA into a sterile vial

2. top it up with 10ml of water

That gives a BA concentration of ~ 0.91% (1/11)

If the vial can't take 11 ml, fill it with as much water as you can without the level touching the septum. The concentration then lands somewhere between 0.91% and 1% (by all accounts it still doesn't sting at that strength).

Label every vial, no exceptions.

Since I'm allowed to say it now, my Hospira has come from NL.

www.reinsupplies.shop tends to keep it in stock, and so does genetek, along with assorted vendor bac.

Delivery to Sweden is no problem at all.

What's the thinking behind that site's Hospira listing saying it isn't to be used with retatritude?

It doesn't read like the usual regulatory cover-your-backside line. Is there actually a reason?

Correct, and that's down to the NaCl in it - reta and NaCl should never be combined

That's not the standard hospira bac water, the one with benzyl alcohol in it.

What he's shipping at the moment is a different product that also carries the hospira name, only this one holds sodium chloride - and that shouldn't go anywhere near Retatrutide

Heads up, I've seen reports going round that the Hospira BAC he's selling lately is fake

You can brew it yourself, or pick some up from EU-based sites that stock it. Getting it sent to Sweden isn't an issue with BAC.

For those of you mixing your own BAC water: is the benzyl alcohol you're using endotoxin free? Scientific purity is one thing, but being free of endotoxins is a whole different matter.
