Anyone here ever run ipamorelin on its own? I realize most folks stack it with a CJC variant, and I've already dug into that combo plenty.

From what I've seen, a lot of users report solid outcomes with CJC/IPA, but the histamine flare-ups absolutely terrify me. After looking into it, I've concluded those reactions come from the CJC portion rather than the IPA.

So, has anyone here used ipamorelin alone? Did you still notice better sleep and a rise in igf-1? Also, I'm open to anyone shooting holes in my theory that CJC is what triggers the histamine reactions.

I was thinking about the same thing not long ago, but I couldn't turn up anything helpful. What I do know — or what I've heard, rather — is that when Ipamorelin first started being compounded, it had a pretty solid following, so you'd think some information would exist. The problem is that this material dates back to the late 1990s, and I can't locate anything about it used on its own. Coming back around to that, here's what I figure we could reasonably infer from what it would do solo:

Better sleep

Hungrier

Increased IGF-1

That said, honestly this is just an educated guess based on its mechanisms and how it works. The only reason I even went down this path was because I was dumb and skipped the research, then bought 3 kits of Ipamorelin alongside 3 kits of Tesamorelin without realizing Ipamorelin is dosed somewhere between a 1/3rd and a 1/6th of Tesamorelin, not 1:1 lol

Its fundamental pharmacology closely mirrors tesamorelin, it costs less, and there are fewer studies conducted in humans.

I think I've come across mentions of ipa on its own, but the source escapes me. What I recall hearing is that among cjc, ipa, and tesa, ipa delivers the strongest sleep advantages.

Not sure, though — I may end up skipping ahead to hgh. There's still time before I commit, since I aim to drop roughly 20 lbs and get my insulin under control first, prior to touching any gh-related compounds.

Yeah, same situation here. I'm running reta right now and have dropped a lot of weight, but I've lost a fair amount of muscle too. My goal is basically the most potent stack I can get without resorting to full-on HGH or TRT.

Based on what I've looked into, taking Ipamorelin on its own doesn't seem to accomplish much. Its half-life is only about 2 hours, and you apparently have to schedule it carefully — after training and right before bed — for the GH pulses to actually do anything.

What I've come across suggests that a Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin combination delivers the best outcomes for most people, rather than IPA by itself. Wondering what folks on here think, and what results you saw specifically for holding onto muscle, recovery, sleep, and performance in the gym while in a deficit.

I picked up a Tesa/Ipa blend kit. My plan is a 50-day run at 2 mg/.6 mg per day, taken in the evening.

As a ghrelin agonist, ipamorelin ramps up hunger and encourages putting on weight. Your appetite will increase, and that could subsequently push IGF1 higher. Research exists on this compound, and achieving any response requires doses well beyond the usual 200-300mcg. Findings indicate that ghrelin agonists work against GLP1 agonists, which appears logical.

That claim isn’t accurate. Like I mentioned earlier, it works as a growth hormone releasing agent, but it’s also a ghrelin agonist — which makes it fairly distinct from tesamorelin.

Appreciate it! Since losing weight is my main aim, ipa likely isn’t worth it for me. At this point it’s just a question of tesa versus jumping right to the real thing.

What were your igf-1 and z-score readings before starting?

IGF at 161 ng/mL
You made it past the initial hurdle 🙂

When it came to side effects, Tesa hit me hard. It draws a lot of users because its legal status is a bit looser than HGH, but the cost is high, the results are weaker, serious reactions can occur, and how it affects sleep varies a great deal from person to person. I still haven't moved over to HGH, yet I haven't come across the same kind of negative accounts for it.

Yeah, that's exactly why I'm leaning toward the hgh path at this point. Ipa was my final option, but it didn't pan out.
