Time to share some laughs about the spots you've hit and the faces you haven't laid eyes on since you changed — and they stared at you as if you were a SNACK! And it wasn't just the staring; deep down you knew you truly were a SNACK! So sound off, GLP1 crowd. After dropping a decent amount of lbs, where did you strut through like the floor was a red carpet and let those fuckers see YOU WERE THERE with your brand-new fine ass self?!?!?!?!

These peps don't just reshape the body — they reshape the mind too, along with confidence and the entire way we carry ourselves. Give yourself a pat on the back and share how you flaunted the new you in front of people who hadn't crossed paths with you in a while.

Not long ago I caught up with some friends from a job I used to have, and every single one of them went DAMNNNNNN. You look great! I've only shed 45lbs and I'm still fat as fuck, but that's a real drop and I'm way happier and healthier. These folks are genuinely good people. To me they're friends, not merely old co-workers. We spent over 8yrs working side by side and traded plenty of personal stuff during that stretch. We got together for drinks, laughed, and caught up on our lives and everything that's gone down since I moved on. Seeing them and looking better and feeling better did me good. It felt nice to be more confident, more healthy, and more happy than I was back when I worked there. Their happiness for me was real, and it handed me a huge boost of energy to keep going down this road. Being a SNACK isn't bad at all...right now I'm more of a snack plate, but I'm putting in the work to become ONE snack on a plate LoL

What's your story?

No idea what a SNACK is. Going by your description though: none, and nowhere.
BOOOOOOOOOOO BNLFL, seriously?! You've been around this community for quite some time and dropped a bunch of lbs. Surely there was at least 1 occasion when you showed up somewhere, knew you looked great, and walked with extra pep as a result.

The physical improvements you're experiencing feed straight into your mindset, and that confidence radiates outward. Others pick up on it.

There's something special about running into someone from your past and watching their reaction shift into genuine delight at your changed appearance. Extra credit when it's a former flame or an old crush.

Whenever I step into a bar, the person behind the counter wants to know my order for the day. The regulars at that spot have been familiar faces to me for quite some time. My wife and I took a flight to Kansas because 1 of her sisters was ill, and the rest of her siblings showed up too — 6 of them in total. Not a single person brought up the fact that we had lost weight. We hadn't laid eyes on them for 6-7 years.

I read the title and figured this was a thread about snacks... my bad, I'm just feeling a bit peckish😅

Same here! 🤣

I've dropped 30lbs, yet that hasn't been enough for anyone outside my spouse to view me as a snack…hold on though! A few weeks back, someone actually flirted with me! It felt good and caught me off guard (they kept it respectful, which I appreciate). I picked up some inexpensive new summer outfits to boost my style; between that and my growing confidence, I definitely strut around feeling myself, even if my husband is the only one who notices and says nice things. ☺️

Still, I could really go for a snack!

If you're a snack, then you should have a snack! Every now and then, you've got to indulge yourself.😼

This thread is fantastic! I also share the feeling of being MUCH more self-assured and genuinely at peace with my current situation- I will never return

A huge chunk of this journey happens in the mind. We can still pack it away the same way we used to—it's our brain that puts the brakes on, with a bit of GLP assistance to slow digestion down.

When you look good, you feel good—and the reverse holds true as well!

For all of you, here's a little snack idea: slice sweet potatoes thin, about chip thickness, give them a light coating of olive oil, dust with cinnamon plus a touch of brown sugar, then air fry until they crunch. That's the SNACK you were hoping to find when you clicked on this thread. 😁

I'll choose what you wear—you're going to come across as a snack.

My husband had a work trip—a vacation/conference combo for his relatively new job—down in Florida, and I tagged along. That's where I got introduced to the whole cast: his coworkers in sales, the customers, the competitors. Apart from a handful I'd encountered at work dinners, these were all fresh faces to me.

Right away I felt a bit out of place. This schmoozer-sphere, where everybody flirts with everybody, is not how my husband and I do things. But once day 1 was behind me, I somehow became oddly popular with the men. Honestly? I had fun staying extra glued to my husband just to dodge them. Plenty of knowing looks aimed at my man, plenty of 'save me please' moments.

I think he started out a little on edge, but by the end of the first night everyone could see I wasn't among the wives who'd be 'passed around' once the drinking kicked in. It felt good that he got a bit territorial, since in 'real life' I'm just a mom at home—gardening, farming, butchering.

It also left me grateful for my quiet life. Frankly, I felt bad for the women acting like sluts while their husbands were off carousing elsewhere doing the same.

I've got a bit of extra padding in the rear! Still, I can't wait until I'm more of a snackette!

It has to boost your confidence, since you recognize it as envy. Reactions like that just make me laugh.

Believe me, that trunk isn't going anywhere! There was a time I couldn't stand it, but these days I've really grown to appreciate her!
