Scientists just regrew knee cartilage.

I hope it's this easy someday, maybe even for hip or other joints as well. I've replaced both my knees and have Arthritis in both hips and everywhere else. I'm probably the outlier here for PPS-Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium, it's an old bladder medication being repurposed for Arthritis. It's been around for horses a hot minute, my dog is on Adequan which is weaker version of it we get through my vet.

There's a company bringing this to market in 26/27, it's in stage III clinical trials now in a few countries. I get mine through my Doctor via telehealth, from a compound pharmacy. I got Arthritis pretty bad, can't sing or dance and can't take Nsaids. So this is the other option for me right now.

I’ve heard a lot of negative things and complaints regarding the surgery itself.

Compared to hip surgery, which generally yields good results, this procedure carries much higher risks.

Yup! I know plenty of old goat skiers that still crush the mountain every day despite both knees getting done.
