Reta worked well… so what went wrong?

Began my diet in August at 314lbs, then introduced Reta at the start of October when I was 307lbs. I stuck to zero sugar, ate 2 meals per day — eggs in the morning and chicken salad in the afternoon before 530pm. Also made sure to get at least 7 hours of sleep, kept bedtime roughly consistent, took NAC in the morning and Glycine at night.

Things went really well — weight trended down with only small bumps up, mostly down, and by December 15th I was at 277lbs. I paused for a week while waiting on more Reta (from a new supplier) and added ipamoreline.

Here's the issue…. when I weighed myself 2 weeks later I had put on 9 pounds, and for about a month now my weight loss has basically flat lined at 284lbs.

Trying to work out what's going on

Ipamoreline?

New supplier? (Paperwork tested and batch matched) and there has been some appetite suppression but nothing like what I had in November at 2mg, and now I'm at 8 mg

Something is definitely not working the same

Likely the ipamorelin is the culprit. Verify this yourself, but typically growth hormone peptides cause additional water retention along with stronger appetite. That means you might be dealing with water weight plus possibly consuming slightly more calories than previously.

Yeah, the first thing I suspected when my appetite came back stronger was…now that reta has gone from 4-5 up to 8 …I somehow assumed that would offset that side of things. Regardless, I didn't expect the scale to sit still for a whole month after it had been so effective during the prior 2.5 months

How many weeks have you been on ipamorelin? I haven't begun my own Ipa yet, but I've gone through many accounts from other people. From what I've gathered, the water weight it brings tends to linger for some time before eventually dropping off. Maybe try pausing for 1 or 2 weeks to check whether anything shifts. How does your workout routine look?

Began on December 23, which makes it 3 weeks

I'm on a 5mg/5mg combo of cjc 1295 and ipamoralin. It can be dosed 1 time per day — morning, pre-workout, or 30-60mins prior to sleep — with a 2 hour fast beforehand and a 30 min wait before eating afterward. My daily amount is 200mcg. The way it works: cjc signals your pituitary to ramp up GH production, while ipamoralin signals it to put that GH out.

On December 23, I began ipa. I took 250 in the morning and at night, 5 days on with 2 days off, and paired it with tessamorelin.

October was my starting point too. I followed the same titration schedule used in the trials: begin at 2, then bump up by 2 every 4 weeks. Exercise, I believe, plays a huge role. My body composition scale showed subq fat declining while visceral fat stayed put. So I introduced tesa at 2 daily, taken before sleep. As far as I know, it's the most potent among the 3 morelins. Inside 6 weeks, my visceral went from 20 down to 16. IGF peptides' hunger pull doesn't appear to matter for me anymore, given that my reta is now at 8 weekly. On the diet side, protein and healthy fats are my priority; on training days I'll add some carbs before working out, or whenever I feel completely drained. Hopefully this is useful. I'm aware of several people who stacked cagri with reta and got past their stall. Based on what I understand about reta, 8 is a solid maintenance level because the trials show less of a curve or plateau there.

I'm a huge fan of GH peptides. I've done a few rounds of IPA/CJC, and I only started them once my weight loss was already complete.

GH peptides make me incredibly hungry every time.

My suggestion: pause the IPA for now, then bring it back once you're getting close to the finish line of your weight loss.

Appreciate it, that's helpful info
