what exactly does var mean?
It's the abbreviation for Anavar—the go-to AAS among women... or rather, among women who know what they're doing.
appreciate it, heading straight off to look that up
After that, I'll hand you a few extra shavings to get things going. The anabolic-to-androgenic ratio.

Went through what you wrote and gave the replies a quick look. Whatever the question was, it's slipped my mind at this point...

From what I understand, Anavar tends to be quite effective in the 10-20mg range, with roughly 30% suppression across a 12 week run (that study used anavar alone, no test base).

For cutting while holding onto muscle, Clen is likely the top option outside of a glp1.

To avoid completely trashing your sleep, either one should be dosed right after waking up.

Do you have a test base in the mix?

I'm 39 and already have both clen and var sitting with me, but I haven't given either a try so far.

How in the world did this post slip past me!!! I'm not much use here since the other meds you listed (Reta aside) are a total mystery to me. Honestly though, I went through the whole thing — your posts and replies never fail to crack me up. Still, it bums me out that I didn't get to wish you a happy birthday, so

Happy Birthday 🎉🎂

No worries.. Typically the remoras and minnows fly under a shark's radar.

No problem. Appreciate it regardless.

Test isn't part of my stack. Just Var. Clen is off the table for me going forward. At 20mcg it didn't do much. Var gets dropped in 4 weeks. Currently on 10mg EOD.

When starting out, both men and women ought to seek out AAS that is maximally anabolic while being minimally androgenic.

I am 245lbs, 6"3 and am using 10mg EOD. I may move to 10mg daily after two weeks...maybe...Based on your size, you can make your estimate.

Hmm...

Started peps back in March, and I'm 205 at 6'2. IGF and CJC only began roughly 3 weeks ago.

If your dose is below what's considered "beginner", then my own approach has to be even more cautious.

Likely 10mg two times per week, or at most 3 times weekly.

Should DES and PEG ever show up through the BST groups, I'll grab those too. Waiting 2 months on CN products isn't something I can do (FURONG still hasn't arrived).

So anavar, but no HGH.

Reviews are genuinely split - one side claims hgh is the safer, better long-term option, while the other side says anavar delivers results faster than hgh but carries a higher risk profile.

Sheesh.
Alright, grab a seat—this is going to be lengthy. So, my bad.

Yeah, 10mg of Var 3 days per week is worth a shot... but hold on, before I launch into the whole HGH and Ana discussion, some background is needed. I'll frame it through business strategy.

There are two categories of goals here—proximate and ultimate.

Losing maximum fat while holding onto as much muscle and strength as possible is my proximate goal. Keeping TRT, HRT, and senescence at bay for as long as I can is another proximate goal. All of these, though, are short-term aims in service of the ultimate goal: NEVER HAVING TO EMBARK ON A FAT LOSS SLASH/CUT journey ever again.

With that in mind, chasing "muscle mass" while simultaneously cutting weight strikes me as pointless. That said, resistance training can target three distinct things. Sarcoplasmic hypertrophy—bodybuilding/volume/mass training—is common knowledge. Myofibrillar hypertrophy—strength training—is known to some. But a 3rd target exists: power! People sometimes confuse it with plyometrics, but that's not what it is.

Here's the thing: as you get older, functional strength matters more and more, and the value of moving well is massively underrated. I'm lucky because my sport happens to be the one where athletes retain strength furthest into old age. Even the term old man strength shows up most in my sport. There's a cause for that. It comes down to how we train.

That covers the backdrop. Now, on HGH—sure, our levels decline with age. And HGH would assist with fat loss and muscle gain. But I'm already on GLp's. While losing weight, I refuse to accept even the tiniest bit of water retention. I'm aware some lean muscle mass will go, even if it's 10%. But what gets lost is sarcoplasmic fluid, aka muscle volume. Every stem cell that turned into myonuclei within the muscle cells stays put. With more myonuclei, once I eventually start bulking up, they will, as @Mr. Blonde put it, blast forward. So for now, I'm targeting power/myofibrillar hypertrophy and tendon hyperplasia. Anavar excels at that. I've used it before.

If your aim is to build lasting adaptations in muscle and nerves, then Var beats GH along with the rest of that family.

Okay...just administered my 4th Reta dose. The amount was 1.5mg. As of yesterday and today, the weight loss has come to a halt.

Do you step on the scale every day?

Yeah, usually 2 times per day.
That's overdoing it. Friday is my primary weigh-in, and I also step on Tuesday just to check in. On Fridays I let the smart scale capture all metrics; on Tuesdays I don't. Weight swings too much when measured that frequently. When I started out doing that, it made me crazy.

Yep, probably that. In my case, I rely on it for monitoring water weight, food weight, and similar. A habit carried over from when I was diabetic.

I figured that was for monitoring sugar levels.

Yep, that's one more thing worth monitoring. A very basic way to gauge whether you might be shedding lean muscle is to look at how much water weight you're dropping. Basically: step on the scale right after waking, once you've peed, and that gives you your dry weight. Later, once you've eaten, drunk fluids, and trained, you get a second reading. I keep an eye out for anything that doesn't line up.

Like everyone else mentioned, that's a huge amount to get through, and I'm not on any Semax or anything like that to stay focused. The only thing I'm sure of is that it's motivating me, and I want to reach your level someday, big bro

Why in the world would you aspire to be me, dude? Have we actually met face to face or anything? No, because if we had, you definitely wouldn't wish for that. Hmm, that's quite the puzzle.
