Reta Titration

Took my initial Reta shot on 7/12, then the next one on 7/19

Each time it was 0.5mg

How do I figure out when it's time to increase the dose? Since starting, I've dropped 6lbs

Diet and exercise have stayed the same

Thanks in advance
This comes down to a pretty simple set of choices:

Is your goal to drop over 3 lbs weekly? Then you'd raise the dose. (That's NOT recommended.)

You're 6 pounds down with 9 still to lose. Hold at .5mg for another 3 weeks and reassess. Making a titration call off just 2 weeks of data isn't enough.

When you began reta, did you accept that staying on it long-term might be necessary? GLP1 medications alter your metabolism in a major way. Once you stop, chances are you'll put back at least part of what you shed; that regain tends to come on quicker than the loss did; it's largely fat; and it lands mostly around the belly.

My suggestion is to think more about your plan for coming off reta than about when to bump it up. YMMV. Wishing you the best!

2 4 6 8 10 12. Each step lasts 4 weeks. Should heavier side effects show up, drop back by 1mg and stay there another 4 weeks. Once I hit 8mg, my wallet is emptying faster than the scale is moving. By this point I'd have pushed my rs to 12. Problem is that runs a few hundred every month, which I don't have.

Huh? My weekly dose is 18mg, and there are 4.3 weeks per month. With the lowest-priced option I have, Reta works out to $.23/mg… which comes to under $18 monthly. If I go with the R60 I can get right away at standard retail, it’s $37 monthly.
I wasn't employed, so I aimed to avoid the grey area to keep things off the record. Despite all the COAs, my confidence in many of those online vendors is low—it ends up costing more. Still, I'm getting close to my target and won't have to stay on this indefinitely. It occurs

Verify your scale, then grab paper tape to note down neck and waist measurements.

Should you notice absolutely no progress, think about increasing your dose.
