I've been at 12.5mg for roughly a year now. I do have a prescription. Over the last couple of months my insurance has given me trouble. Fortunately, I had several months put aside. I also picked up some grey just in case. My weight hasn't budged for a bit more than 6 months. Another 10lbs would be nice to drop, but honestly I'm content. All told, I've used some kind of GLP1 for around 2.5 yrs. Pretty much back to my college weight.

My energy runs low, particularly during workouts, and especially with cardio.

I'm considering tapering down to about 7.5mg, or possibly even 5mg, and just staying at that level indefinitely.

This past Wednesday I took my first grey shot, 10mg. My goal is to stockpile some prescription meds. There's some hunger creeping in. It isn't terrible, but it's out of the ordinary. I keep glancing at the clock and thinking about heating up my lunch. Normally an hour passes before I notice the time and go eat.

My plan is to hold at 10 for a while. Could be months. I was also thinking about splitting my prescription tirz so it stretches further. Maybe throw in a small reta dose of 1mg midweek?

Anyone have advice?

If you went from 12.5 down to 10, then increased hunger is a logical result.

Whether you split your Rx or switch entirely to grey is your call. "Technically" both are tirz. Perhaps the Rx gives you a greater sense of security? Or maybe you doubt grey will work as well? It could help to clarify what you're aiming for so you can lay out a tirz plan.

You need to settle whether that last 10 is something you'll pursue. That choice will shape your dosing and any Reta choices.

I'm picking up on a lot of "not sure" energy. This might be the moment to pause, look at how far you've come, and set some sharp goals. If goals feel like too much, then at least sharp plans: if I haven't dropped x by y, I'll add Reta. Or pause and declare today the start of my next fabulous life. Or (fill in the blank).

What worries me is that you're running through many options while moving toward a taper and a "rest of life" phase… but it doesn't sound like a firm decision. This stuff takes weeks to build up and more weeks to adjust… I just want you to have a game plan you actually like!

Reducing your dose makes me nervous. From a weight standpoint it doesn't tend to work out well (at least for the majority of women). Is your main reason for wanting to titrate down the drop in energy, or is it the expense (making your supply last longer)? Since the Tirz has clearly been working, I'd prefer to hold at the dose you're on and bring in Reta instead. How are things going with your calories, protein and sleep?

Right now the prescription works out cheaper — $25 covers 3 months. So sticking with that is the plan. Going grey doesn't bother me at all. Currently I'm on CDC/ipa. The other day I took grey triz.

Energy is the big thing I'm chasing. I play in a men's league for hockey. I'm not fueling enough to keep my energy up through a game. Over the last 3 or 4 weeks, on days with games or skates, I've made a point of eating 3 meals plus some gatoraide. It helps a bit. Before I started that, I never got winded. Instead my muscles would just be fatigued. I simply couldn't skate any longer. Hopefully that makes sense.

Protein intake is high. Calories could be better. I could also exercise more. Those are the main reasons I can't get those last 10lbs.

That's logical. It sounds like lowering your dose gradually would be a wise move for you. You really have to pay attention to what your body is telling you.
