Week 2 numbers, here they are:

Starting the week at 103.60KG, now sitting at 103.40KG, so that's 0.2KG gone. Clearly not what I was hoping for! A couple of days of that week had me working away from home, which meant plenty of time behind the wheel, some 'service station' meals, and I skipped workouts on 1 or 2 days. Whether that truly explains the stall, I can't say for sure, but honestly since that first injection I haven't noticed much of anything changing - barely any side effects, just some tiredness on the day I dose.

I did manage to get some exercise in since I wasn't gone the whole week: about 8km of running and roughly 2hrs of resistance training at the gym, so it wasn't all sitting around.

Like I said before, side effects and even the 'effects' themselves have been pretty minimal so far, so hoping it gets things moving, I pinned 2mg. We'll see what happens.

Have a great week, thanks all!

Hey, a bit of slipping up aside, you're still moving the right way! That 2 mg dose should deliver stronger outcomes, I'd bet — though there's no need to shy away from going higher afterward, since you're sitting at the lowest portion of what the trials tested.

Cheers Jinm, that means a lot!

A separate thread on this site mentions a forum sponsor that might have shipped R10 labeled as R20 for one specific batch. The batch number I have lines up with that one - in practice, the vials may only be half filled, which means I could be injecting 50% of what I believe I am. Over on 'another' testing site, results for that same batch are mixed: some look normal, others show the same problem. From where I sit this is a real letdown, and now I'm uncertain - is my dose 2mg, or is it 1mg? Might that explain why what I've used so far hasn't felt like 'too much'?

Here's how the opening week went:

Starting weight for the week: 104.90KG. This morning's weigh-in: 103.60KG. That works out to 1.30KG (2.8lbs) lost across 7 days.

Alongside that, I've been gradually getting back into training. Roughly 6km of running so far, plus a couple of gym visits adding up to about 2hrs. I know the scale movement is probably water and glycogen rather than actual fat, but everyone has to start somewhere.

The shot itself didn't do much that I could notice. I've been prioritizing protein and cutting back on junk, though I suspect that's me being motivated by the whole endeavor rather than anything retatrutide is doing. Zero side effects so far - no meaningful appetite suppression, no food turning me off, no sleep problems, nothing like that - so as of today I've moved up to 1MG.

One thing I want to ask about: my mixed vial (sitting in the fridge inside a convipen) is 20MG. At the dose I'm on, that's going to stretch quite a while. What's the safe window for continuing to use the same vial? I figured 5 weeks max - does that sound too long, or too short?

Appreciate any input!
From what I remember, Magic Peter (janoshik) mentioned that potency likely begins dropping once you pass roughly 2 months after reconstitution—maybe down to around 80–90% compared with a vial mixed fresh (I can't recall the exact figure).

My situation is pretty much the same. The vials I have are 20mg, and because my dose is low, a single vial stretches well past 1 month. So provided you keep everything clean, the solution stays clear without any indication that something is off, and you accept there will likely be a modest loss of strength by the time the 2nd month is wrapping up, you should be okay using it for 2–3 months, as another person already pointed out.

And honestly, we can discuss someone's risk tolerance all we want, but every one of us is here injecting powder sourced from China backed by—unless you paid to test your own batch—nothing beyond a few screenshots of COAs and a more-or-less "trust me bro" from a person who may or may not have addressed you as dear roughly 20 times in one message thread.

I brought up my worries when I spoke with my 'rep'. According to them, the problematic vials have been pinpointed, and every one of them traces back to February orders. Since my own order was placed near the end of April, they tell me I have nothing to worry about.

Morning everyone,

Last Monday's weigh-in came in at 103.40kg. When I stepped on the scale this morning, it read 101.90kg — roughly 1.5kg down, which pleases me, especially since the week before had more or less plateaued. Midweek I actually hit 101.10kg, then drifted back up a touch, but either way I'm satisfied with the direction things are going. I've just administered 2.5mg of RT — by the tail end of the weekend the effect seemed to be fading more than I'd like, so I bumped it up slightly. If all goes well, I'll stay at this dose for another few weeks, provided the weight keeps coming off.

As for sides, I got the same half-day of tiredness roughly 24hrs after dosing that I usually do, plus a couple of short waves of nausea while eating, though nothing severe. Oddly, I'm nearly pleased they showed up, since it tells me this is at least a dose that's doing something for me right now.

Training is progressing nicely. Running distances are creeping up (11k this week) and so is time under resistance in the gym (about 2.5hrs).

Overall I'm content with where I'm at and feeling upbeat.

Cheers everyone, enjoy your week.

Once again, it's that point in the week...

When I stepped on the scale last Monday, the number was 101.9kg. As of today, the scale reads 100.7kg — which works out to roughly a 1.2kg decrease. Considering that I've restarted creatine and have been on it for around 10 days now, I'm pretty pleased with how things are going. With creatine, I'd figure on picking up a bit of water weight, maybe around 0.5kg or so.

Training has been solid. Over the past week I've put in about 11km of running once more, plus somewhere near 3.5hrs of resistance work at the gym, so the trajectory looks good.

As for side effects... this round was somewhat different. Fatigue hit me hard, I felt worn out, and at moments a bit down. Nausea was more pronounced during the first 2-3 days — though it never actually kept me from eating, it just wasn't a particularly nice feeling. That said, toward the end of the week I noticed I was less tempted to reach for snacks, so for now I've chosen to remain at 2.5mg and am hoping the coming week treats me better.

Shotsy's output for month 1 is attached.

Wishing everyone a great week.

Same approach here — I began with a small amount: 0.5 during week 1, then 1.0 in week 2, and come week 4 I was still on 1.0, except split into 2 injections per week. Pretty much right away, hunger dropped off a cliff. The constant food chatter disappeared, so I had to actively remind myself to eat — and to prioritize protein-heavy meals. These days I'm running 2 to 2.5 doses, 2x per week. On top of that, I lift weights 3x weekly plus some cardio (which I despise). The pounds came off fast, though now and then I'd hit a small "set back" of 1 or 2 pounds; despite those blips, the trend line stayed solid, and I've shed 30+lbs across 11 weeks. As for side effects worth mentioning: skin sensitivity (irritating, though nothing serious), feeling cold in the evenings thanks to losing that insulating fat layer, and — the one that bothers me most — what people call "ozempic face"! Once that facial fat disappeared, my wrinkles became way more obvious. My spin on it: that fat layer got swapped for a layer of sophistication and wisdom... lol. To try to slow down the aging bit, I picked up GLOW a few weeks back. No idea whether it's doing anything for the aging, but a knee I messed up more than a year ago bothers me far less now. And 2 weeks ago, I began micro-dosing tesamorelin, hoping to go after visceral fat — my last remaining battleground. Reading about your experience has been fascinating. Appreciate you putting it out there for us. Can't wait for your next updates!

🤣

Thanks for getting back to me — well done on the big drop in weight, and best of luck with the knee as well as GLOW. Let us know how everything progresses!!
