Hi everyone, writing from Arizona. I'm a 45-year-old female.

This whole space is new to me, but I'm looking forward to what's ahead. I've spent a lot of time reading and researching so I can catch up. Hearing about other people's firsthand experience is really valuable to me, which is why I'm here.

Not long ago I began KLOW and so far it seems to be going fine. Right now I'm figuring out injection sites (trying to work out which spots and what routine cause the least pain and bruising), and I've already grabbed a few pointers from this community, so I'll see how it goes.

At the moment I weigh 120lbs (5'2") and still want to drop roughly 7lbs — mostly that stubborn belly fat that has always been an issue for me.

I'm intending to add Tesa for that.

I was considering adding a very low dose of Reta.

Food noise isn't something I deal with (the only exception is when I do keto, which happens roughly once a year), appetite suppression isn't something I need, and portion control isn't a struggle for me. Sweets and carbs, though, are real cravings, and I am insulin resistant.

I also have (treated) hypothyroidism (plus Hashimoto's that fluctuates in and out of remission depending on stress). My stomach is extremely sensitive, so GI problems and side effects worry me. Sleep is a big issue for me — lots of insomnia. My energy tends to be low. On top of that my ferritin is low (30), and I'm trying to raise it through diet and bicyclinate iron tablets (every other day, though honestly I'm not great at staying consistent with it because of how the iron makes me feel).

My husband has been using peps for a while, and I can't explain why I took so long to join in… but I'm excited to find out what happens and what benefits this journey might bring. Oh, and I'm also ADHD (diagnosed, and I take medication more or less consistently), so I've gone down alllll of the rabbit holes and the hyperfixation is doing its job — learning all of the things and soaking it up like a sponge (at the expense of all of the other things I'm supposed to be doing instead 😆).

I do have a short list of peps that I plan to order (I plan on adding one at a time, weeks apart). But I'm open to suggestions and advice on the subject!

Thanks

Hello from Arizona! I’m F 45

I’m new to this area, but excited for this journey. I have been doing a lot of reading and reviewing to get up to speed. I appreciate the knowledge share from others’ real world experience, so I’m here for that.

I recently started KLOW and think it’s been going well. I’m learning about injection sites (and trying to find the right areas/process to minimize pain/bruising) and have picked up some tips here, so we’ll see how that goes.

I’m currently 120lbs (5’2”) and have about 7lbs to lose, which is mainly stubborn abdominal fat that I’ve always had a problem with.

I’m planning to add Tesa for this.

I was thinking about adding a very low dose of Reta.

I don’t experience food noise (except when I go keto, which only happens about once a year) and I don’t need appetite suppression and I don’t have a problem with portion control. But I do crave sweets and carbs, and I am insulin resistant.

I do have (treated) hypothyroidism (and Hashimoto’s that goes in and out of remission based on stress). I have an extremely sensitive stomach, so GI issues and side effects are a concern. I have a lot of sleep issues/insomnia. I generally feel low energy. I also have low ferritin (30) (which I am trying to supplement with diet and bicyclinate iron tablets (alternating days, but candidly, I’m not good at being consistent with this because of how the iron affects me).

My husband has been taking peps for a while, and I don’t know why I was slow to get in the game… but I’m excited to see what happens and the possible benefits from this journey. Oh and I’m also ADHD (diagnosed and taking medication somewhat consistently), so I’ve been down alllll of the rabbit holes and the hyperfixation is doing its job in learning all of the things and absorbing like a sponge (to the detriment of all of the other things that I’m supposed to be doing instead 😆).

I do have a short list of peps that I plan to order (I plan on adding one at a time, weeks apart). But I’m open to suggestions and advice on the subject!

Thanks

Hi there! KLOW is part of my routine too. For me, the spots that work best are the mid thighs along with the upper-outer thighs. To let each area recover, I switch between the left and right sides. Sorry to hear your sleep has been rough. From what I understand, though, there's a pep that can help with that. Wishing you the best as you go along!

A handful of peptides can help with sleep. DSIP is one option, though it's very finicky. When I gave it a try, my sleep ended up more disrupted than it had been to begin with. That said, I've come across people reporting great outcomes when they really take the time to fine-tune their dosing.

CJC/ipamrelin is another one, provided you take it at night a few hours after your final meal, since that lines up with the body's natural hormonal pulses. Good luck.

Another person with Hashimoto's here too.

My strong recommendation would be to check out semax+selank for help with your ADHD. It has completely changed things for me.
