Greetings from Australia, where it's currently autumn! I'm fairly new to this. I've been on retatrutide for 8 weeks now, and I inject twice per week.

Week 1: 0.5mg (every week I split it into 2 doses)

Weeks 2 through 6: 1mg

Weeks 7 and 8: 2mg

So far I've dropped roughly 5-6kg. My starting weight was 69kg, I'm 5"6, and female.

The side effects have been quite intriguing. I've got the sore skin that seems to come up for everyone, along with a bit of nausea and headaches from the ret when I don't get enough water (sadly I'm someone who can't stand drinking it plain or at room temperature - yes, I know). Compared to other posts I've come across here, it looks like my titration is on the gentler side. Would that make me a hyper responder?

This has really sparked my interest in learning the finer points of navigating the peptide world. I'd love to hear other people's stories and maybe get some advice on stacking.

At some point, after I've gotten everything I can out of Tirx, I'll make the move to Reta. The side effects aren't something I'm eager to deal with. Even so, it beats the alternative of dying from weight-related illnesses! When it comes down to it, this isn't for "current us" — it's for "future us".

For that stretch of time, 5-6kgs sounds roughly in line. Usually the initial 2-3kgs is water/glucagon that tends to come off in the first 2 weeks, meaning the other 3kg works out to roughly 0.5kg weekly — a great pace for weight loss.

Like the other commenter said: keep your fluids up!

Plain water isn't the only option; you can mix in zero cal. syrup/lemonade or even have diet soda.

Best of luck on your journey!

A handful of those side effects are hitting me too. My starting dose was 1mg, and right now I'm second-guessing that decision. Even after reading up extensively, beginning at .5mg the way you did might have been smarter. 😩

Hello! There's no rush—spend lots of time reading up. Impersonators make it very simple to get ripped off, so be patient and confirm who you're actually dealing with.

I'm roughly 2 weeks further along than you are. The way you've planned your titration looks sensible, and it appears you're reacting quite strongly, just like I did. I've lost 10.5kg so far, though I've got far more weight to shed than you do. You've got to be pretty pleased with how things are going up to now!

A friend who's a power user suggested I should actually ramp up my dose more gradually than I've been doing, since I don't have a huge amount of weight to drop before hitting a goal weight or a healthy BMI. I might stay at 2mg for a while and see whether the side effects fade. When my weight loss stalls, I'll increase it again. Perhaps that's worth thinking about for you too?

I saw that you divide your doses — has that worked well for you, and what does splitting actually get you? I'm still at the pre-start stage, just attempting to figure out what the smartest approach is when it comes to the injection side of things.

Great to spot a fellow Aussie on here — welcome aboard.

Me: 35 years old, male, tipping the scales at 100 kg right now.

My retatrutide journey kicked off at 0.5 mg too, though I went off-script rather than sticking rigidly to the usual protocol. My approach was to tune in to what my body was telling me and bump things up only once it seemed right. Four weeks passed at 0.5 mg, after which I moved up in 0.5 mg steps.

Honestly, not a lot happened for me until I crossed the 4 mg mark.

On the stacking front, what other things are you thinking about adding in?

Still, this GLP community is top-notch, and you've landed in exactly the right place to start exploring peptides.

Best of luck with everything!

Splitting the dose is mainly how I manage side effects. I adjust the amount so the dosage stays low, gradual, and under control.

From my perspective, it comes down to what works for you.

The intended schedule is 1 injection each week. That said, the effects tend to remain fairly potent for 3-4 days, possibly stretching to 5, before tapering off over the remaining days.

Greetings from Melbourne!

For me, 2mg brings on some fairly intense side effects — I honestly can't picture ramping all the way to 12mg the way the clinical trials do.

I'm keen to try GHK-CU, though I've read that its side effects can be rough as well. Are you running anything besides that?

Appreciate the information. I've also come across claims that side effects can vary depending on where you inject—have you noticed that yourself? For instance, something like the thigh causing fewer issues compared to the stomach?

Don't forget to add electrolytes! That's what made a difference for my tingling.
Any suggestions when it comes to electrolytes?
I really rate Skratch Labs, though tossing some Celtic salt into your water works just fine too!

Honestly, I'm completely baffled by how anyone reaches those kinds of doses! My guess is it must be folks who begin at a very high weight with multiple medical issues going on.

When it comes to shedding pounds and curbing hunger, my stack is just Reta plus Cagrilitide (4mg Reta, 1mg Cagrilitide).

Beyond those, here's my everyday lineup.

BPC157/TB500 - 750mcg taken 2x per day (totaling 1.5mg daily)

KLOW - made up of

GHKCU - 3.3mg

BPC157 - 670mcg

TB500 - 670mcg

KPV - 670mcg

and on top of that I also use

MOTSC - 2mg

Selank - 1mg

Semax - 350mcg

Regarding what you asked about electrolytes - my take is the simplest (and most budget-friendly) route is picking up a high-quality Celtic salt, taking a pinch in a glass of water each morning, and you can repeat it during the day based on how much energy you're burning.

Lately I've switched to taking it under the tongue - I place the same morning amount directly beneath my tongue, let the mucosal membrane absorb it for about a minute or 2, then swallow what's left with a large glass of water!

I hope this wall of text manages to help you at least a little 🤣

Thanks for the great tips, and that's quite a cocktail lineup you've got! What shifts have stood out most for you so far while running this combo?

KLOW is next up on my testing list 👍🏻

I realize this is a bit of a detour from the main subject, but my plan is to return to Australia within the next couple of months, and I was curious whether any groups or communities exist that serve Australians interested in peptides? Thanks in advance
