Hey everyone. I'm returning to GLPs after taking some time off.
My history with GLP-1s spans more than a year. I began with sema, then switched to tirz and titrated up to 10mg. That got me down 30-40 lbs and I felt like I was in a solid place. Circumstances forced me to stop for roughly six months, and during that stretch I regained 20+ lbs. It's a humbling experience, although based on what I've been reading around here, it seems like the usual pattern once you quit. I'm back on tirz at a reduced dose now. My initial milestone is returning to 207, the weight I held before the pause. The ultimate aim is 175. Since insurance cut off coverage, I'm covering the cost myself, which makes me take it pretty seriously. I'm here to pick up what I can from folks who've played the long game with this instead of a short sprint. Happy to be part of the group.
