NAD+ turning to gel?

Hey everyone. I’ve got an NJ-1000 (NAD +) vial that I mixed with 5ML of Hosp/BAC. The puck dissolved cleanly, and for the first 2 days of dosing there was nothing unusual. When I took it out of the fridge today, though, it had turned into a cloudy gel sitting at the bottom of the vial. The storage temp is 37F, which peppedia and peptide dosages both confirm is fine. Nothing else on that same tray froze or crystallized, so accidental freezing of my NAD seems unlikely.

After 15 minutes at room temp with some rolling, it went back to liquid. Now, however, I can spot tiny white grainy sand-like particles. I filtered it and it came out crystal clear again. Took another dose and I feel completely fine.

I asked AI and it told me to recon with 10ML, saying my original mix was too concentrated. On the other hand, peptidedosages and peppedia both say (I believe) that the NJ1000 (NAD +) bottle should be reconstituted with 3ML. That’s a lot less than the 5ML I used on this bottle.

What in the world was I looking at, what did I do wrong, and how can I prevent it? Thanks!

The bottle I reconstituted is 500mg, done with 3ML. No trouble at all. I've got 1000 on the way and my plan is 6ML of water for it. Sorry you're running into problems.

More data then. I tried something else and shifted the bottle elsewhere in the fridge, putting it inside a plastic box. Gelling stopped. All it wanted was shelter from the fridge fan's direct blast.

Today I mixed a 500mg bottle of buffered NAD+ with Hospira bac water, and the same gelling issue is happening to me. Is there anyone who knows whether the buffered version needs a different PH and solution than plain Hospira bac water? I've been looking around the forum but haven't come across the answer, so I figured I would bring this thread back up…

Hello. So I have a bottle of NJ-1000 (NAD +) that i reconned with 5ML Hosp/BAC. The puck melted perfectly and the first two days of dosing no issues. Today i pull it from the fridge and its gelled into a cloudy mass at the bottom of the vial. Storage temp is 37F. as confirmed ok by peppedia and peptide dosages. None of the other peps on the same tray were frozen or crystalized, so my NAD probably wasn't frozen by accident.

I give it 15 minutes at room temp, rolling it around. And it goes liquid again. But now I can see little white grainy sand particulate. I filtered and it looks crystal clear again. Another dose, and everything feels fine.

I checked AI and it said Recon with 10ML and that my original recon was too concentrated. In contrast peptidedosages and peppedia both say (i think) to recon the NJ1000 (NAD +) bottle with 3ML. Which is markedly lower than my 5ML recon on this bottle.

What the heck did i see and do wrong and how to avoid? Thank you!

That's a temperature issue - it's far too cold - what you're looking at is either ice crystals or NAD dropping out of solution as particles - set your fridge to a warmer setting - it'll be fine - when I reconstitute NAD I use 3ml - never had a problem.
