I'm just dropping in to share some good vibes!

I haven't set foot in a gym at all. It's all been down to a really dialed-in way of eating. If anybody wants, I can break down my exact prep and what I'm planning. It's a straightforward one-stop shop at Costco, and the cooking takes almost no effort and tastes great!

My job is very physical, though. I put in 11-hour days and walk somewhere between 10-20km per shift on average. I hold a leadership position in industrial construction. I'm not doing any heavy manual labor, just a ton of walking and stair climbing.

With that schedule, finding time for the gym is tough, but I want to have my CPP and EI paid off by the end of this week. (Fellow canucks will get what I mean! )

Here's a little glimpse from my tracker. Lean mass lost looks like it's basically nothing, which I chalk up to my 200mg/week prescription for Test E.

I'm eager to show you all the finished journey. Photos. Stacks. Notes. The whole thing!

I'm really thankful for all the lurking and reading I've done here. You are gentlemen/women and scholars.

nice work! that is seriously massive! dropping 40 lbs over 6 weeks is wild! don't stop now. one thing though—as you drop weight, the lbs/week is going to taper off, so check the percentages instead to stay motivated.. that's my approach lol

That's incredible!! 👏 You're making such solid headway, and I bet you're riding a real high right now! Haha, I totally get the CPP and EI situation — at my job there's no OT available, so I won't reach the cap until around October. When you bumped up from 2 to 4 mgs during that 5th week, did anything unexpected come up? Finding grey really does change everything, doesn't it?

No negative effects have shown up, other than clearer eyesight. These days I can see far better without wearing my glasses, and the prescription I currently have is starting to annoy me. An eye exam is on my list for this week.

My hunger hasn't been suppressed in any dramatic way either. It's more that the things which used to deliver dopamine hits no longer call to me, including but not limited to:

-Junk food (fast food, chocolate, candy)

-Alcohol

-Adult treats (used responsibly, naturally)

The single downside I've picked up on is a drop in libido. I do have a habit of getting hyper focused and locked in on projects I care about, so that could explain it. Not certain.

I'm also unsure about moving up to 8mg. Staying at 4mg or going to 6mg are both possibilities.

Appreciate the kind words.

Losing that much in 6 weeks - does that strike you as safe?
My gut tells me 10-15lbs out of that total came from water — inflammation and everyday edema from carrying around too much weight.

If I really did drop 25lb of fat across 6 weeks, that works out to roughly 4lb per week. That's a big number, but I'm totally fine with it.

This week I'm scheduled for a very thorough blood panel, and I'll repeat it every quarter.

The coach I used to work with went through my photos and progress and said that at 240 I'll end up looking like a toothpick. He's sure that once I shed another 30lbs, putting me at 260, I'll have fully visible abs and be sitting at a healthy weight.

Cheers brother.

Alright, here's some pretty amazing news.

Had an appointment with the optometrist earlier today. To keep it brief, she was taken aback by how much my eyesight had gotten better. She began mentioning sphere and cylinder values, and since I'm an engineer, I asked her to just give me a plain figure.

My current prescription glasses are now stronger than what I need, and the strength has dropped by roughly 15%.

Before starting reta, I never had any wild glucose readings even for someone my size, so I've eliminated that as a possible cause.

Obviously, I'm absolutely thrilled.
