I've been using Reta ( 5mg ) for about 3-4 weeks, and I'm down 13 kg ( 134kg -> 120-121 kg ). I'm curious at what dosage folks began noticing crazy body changes, and how they got past side effects, ESPECIALLY sulphur burps omg I can't stand them. Share the biggest amount of weight you've dropped in 1 week/month — I want some motivation to lock in even harder fr.

Just finished my 3rd Reta shot, 1.5mg, on the 14th — that was 5 days back. Beginning weight: 255.6lbs. As of today: 245.02 lbs. Began May 1st. That works out to 10.5lbs over nineteen days

What kind of impact does clean eating actually have? Say I'm eating clean 75-90% of the time ( meaning meals made at home ), and every so often I order through uber eats ( though I aim for the healthier options ). If I pushed that 75%-90% up to 95% or more, how much would that change things while on 5mg per week?

Losing 13 kilos within a month is wild, and jumping in at 5mg is too - I understand the excitement, but you're pushing it a bit too far, buddy. The higher and quicker you go up, the more side effects will hit you. I began at 2, and after 7 months I'm on 5 with 70lbs gone.

Just 1 days! Watch out for gallstones and pancreatitis! 😉

Nope, 5mg wasn't my starting point. Across roughly a year I've cycled reta on and off, taking about a couple weeks off between each run (because of source problems). Within that on-and-off year I began at 0.5mg and raised it by 0.5 every 3 weeks, so there was no huge leap, don't worry. I'll admit I did go up somewhat fast when I moved from 2.5mg to 5mg lol, but after sorting out my bad habits I've stayed fine. During week 1 of my latest cycle I took 2.5mg, then doubled to 5mg; the rough part lasted just a day, since my eating habits had always been poor, though I've cleaned them up over the last 3 weeks.

Clean diet = not much change

Clen diet = noticeable change

Eating less = the actual change

8mg, dropped 42lbs (19kg) over 4 months. We're also doing a lower carb thing.
Wow. A friend of my dad dropped 66kg over 6 months with no peptides at all — just plain dieting and training.

There are a few reasons not to go too fast...

You'll still reach your goal, and the journey will be easier on you—plus your wallet will thank you!

When you keep weight loss at a gradual clip—usually about \(1\) to \(2\) pounds weekly—the collagen and elastin beneath your skin have enough time to adjust and tighten up while your body gets smaller. [1, 2]

Drop weight too quickly and your system goes into shock, blocking that needed tightening and leaving you with sagging or extra skin. Going slower lets your body make the change in a natural way

And yes—shedding pounds too rapidly, which generally means dropping more than 3 pounds (1.36 kg) each week, can raise your chances of gallstones and pancreatitis quite a bit. [1, 2]

When weight comes off fast (through crash diets, very-low-calorie plans, or bariatric surgery), your liver dumps more cholesterol into bile, and your gallbladder doesn't empty often enough—so sludge and stones can form. [1, 2, 3]

Yes, rapid weight loss can also strip away a lot of muscle. Some muscle loss tends to happen in any weight management effort, but when weight comes off quickly—often from severe calorie cutting—15–25% of the total lost can come from lean muscle mass

First off, those results are awesome — congrats.

Second, take it easy, friend. I totally understand the urge; when I started I pushed too hard and ended up feeling awful. You brought up source, and I'm not sure whether you're gray or not, but there's a ton of info here to settle that if you decide to go that way. As for doing a week on, week off — I wouldn't keep that up, since reta is meant to be dosed weekly, honestly.

Things will shift — reta is magic. Maybe dial your expectations back just a bit; you called it insane results, but personally I'd already call 13kg in 3-4 weeks INSANE. That pace of loss carries a lot of risks, especially since you aren't starting from an extremely high weight. Going forward, slow and steady — one morning you'll put on those old high school jeans and have no idea how much you've actually dropped 😉

The thing is, I'm not actually starving myself — I'm simply a huge guy, so even minor activity burns a ton of energy. I've kept to a 2500 calorie deficit (maintenance sits at 3500, though I use 3200 to be conservative). All I do is train 6 days a week, eat well (though I admit I need more fruits and vegetables), and let the weight come off on its own. I don't fixate on the number on the scale, begging it to drop, or push myself into starvation just to shift it by a kilo or two. Across the month in which I lost 13 kilos, my strength hasn't budged at all. I recently posted in the fitness section with my current benchmarks and even included a diagram of my training plan. I'm aware that shedding weight too quickly is crazy, but since this is my first real change, I doubt all 13kg came from pure fat — maybe 40-60% was water, and now I'm genuinely burning into fat. Excess skin doesn't bother me because surgery is an option, but I'd still rather avoid it. I'm not desperate to lose weight; I just want to lose fat gradually (but not too gradually) while keeping the muscle I've worked to hold onto.

Honestly, my current weight is really high—at least by my own standards. I was around 95 kg back when I was 6ft-6ft1, but these days I'm 120 kg at 6'3. I'm carrying a lot of body fat (my guess is 40-50%, though I'm not sure if that's accurate). At the moment, yes, I'm going the grey route for a source. I'm not doing week on week off right now; the only reason that was happening before was that we hadn't locked in a source yet, and we were paying like 300%-400% extra for a single reta pen that got split among 3 people, so it was kinda yk. But now we've gone grey and each of us has our own kit. I mean, my source kinda aired me for a week after I sent payment, but I'ma just pray lol. Those 13 kilos are the first real weight loss I've had in a LONG time, so I think it's mostly water weight since I ate like a donut for months on end.

Just remember, your body won't process nutrients the same way as when you're consuming whole, single ingredient foods. Processed or junk foods are low in nutrients and loaded with sodium, unhealthy fats, and other stuff your body doesn't need.

That said, feel free to eat what you like! If you go off track once or twice a week, you'll be fine.

Any muscle you shed during your cut can be regained through muscle memory (up to a point) and by bulking.

There's a bit of truth here, but genetics largely dictate skin elasticity, how it forms, and the final outcome.

If it helps you feel any better, at 5'4 I was sitting around 110kg (at a push) 😆 and even that isn't all that much next to plenty of people on the forums and elsewhere online who've pushed into the 50kgs! I've got a set of scales that report my BF (likely not very accurate), so tracking that might be worth trying for you too.

Nice work avoiding the week on week off approach. Overpaying for sources and then finding out about gray is so irritating ahah I grieve the 1000s I burned with pharma and single vial rip off outfits in the UK. it is what it is !

Does your source come from here / is there a verifiable COA you can access ? this place is excellent for vetting vendors. if this one burns you, that sucks but just roll with the folks here. it has happened to the best of us

that first bit of weight coming off sets your expectations sky high, the same thing happened to me but as you drop more / that initial water weight it's gonna slow down. ride the wave my friend

I hear you, and honestly I just want to keep things as clean as I can. For roughly 5-6 years I ate whatever I wanted, and that's what piled on the weight in a big way. Back in London I played football at a semi-pro level, but the past few years I've really let myself go. My genetics are pretty solid — no clue if they're elite or anything — but I do want to hit my maximum genetic potential. Looking good and feeling good, you know? I get that slipping up with food now and then isn't something to sulk about, but given how things have gone for me lately, it feels like I'm throwing away all the progress I've been waiting so long for.
