I've come across a number of seasoned peptide users who argue that keeping things minimal helps preserve both tolerance and results over a longer stretch. I'd like to hear how others here see it, and what they've personally run into.

idk, microdosing doesn't really click for me - I prefer taking a dose that's strong enough to actually notice an effect. When it comes to avoiding insane stacks with 15 pins daily, I'm more restrained though; mentally I cap myself at 3 compounds simultaneously. Right now that's Reta, Klow and MOTS-C.

Hold off and give it time. A single bout of hunger is enough to make far too many people raise their dosage.

Getting through stretches like this still takes a certain amount of self discipline. That hunger will fade, and a lower dose can carry you through the coming weeks.

When hunger becomes a constant presence, resist the reflex to simply double the dose. Instead, titrate upward gradually, or try stacking with another low dose. It is also worth reworking your dosing schedule so that a steadier active level is maintained across the week.

Simple enough... I check my bank balance... and the craving disappears

Truthfully, I'm just 4 weeks into reta plus low-dose DSIP, and the pull to do more is already obvious to me.

Each night, the thought creeps in: "perhaps one more item should be added..."

So far, what's kept me grounded is approaching this as a genuine experiment rather than following daily impulses. Before I alter anything, I log details such as sleep, mood, hunger, energy, recovery, cravings, and so on, then look at the differences afterward. On top of that, I add Apple Watch metrics for sleep, resting HR, HRV, recovery trends, and similar data, so subjective feelings aren't my only guide.

I've been pushing myself to stick to a straightforward set of rules:

  • start with the smallest dose that works
  • give it enough time for a proper assessment
  • adjust only 1 factor at a time
Much of this really comes down to patience and knowing yourself. The impulsive side of me craves quicker results and more fine-tuning, but the rational side recognizes that moving up gradually is simpler than going too far and later being unable to tell what is responsible for what.

That said, I figure peptides are a gateway drug, since now I've got Test C on the way... lol

I run tirz and reta together, one layered over the other, and real hunger has been absent for me for roughly 6 or 7 months now. When I eat, it is either out of habit or because I recognize my body needs fuel. My amounts are 6mg of t and 7mg of r. I have stayed at that elevated level for quite a while, and no tolerance has appeared, since that is exactly the dose that wipes out my unhealthy food cravings, and it does the job.

I am down 115 pounds and still losing. I am no longer the fat friend who unfortunately looks the part, though I still have a long road ahead, and I am still unfortunate looking.

Hold off until you've overdone it and notice something feels wrong. That's miserable. Focusing on just 1 or 2 objectives at a time works out better. For instance, losing weight plus sleeping better. Choose 2-4 peps and stay with them.

When deciding whether to bump up my reta dose, I look at how well I tolerate side effects, whether my weight is staying within the guardrails (I aim to lose no more than 1.1%/week and no less than .9%/week), and what my health metrics show (bloodwork, sleep data, RHR, HRV, etc).

I could be wrong about this, but my expectation is that the dose I need for maintenance or equilibrium will end up being quite a bit lower than what I use while cutting. During a cut, the dose is higher so that I have a better chance of being a strong responder, with the goal of dropping 30-35% of my starting (GLP) weight of 282lb. My thinking is that the cutting dose won't significantly drag down my equilibrium dose. Only time will reveal whether that holds true.

I take small amounts of Tirz on Friday and Reta on Monday, aiming for a higher GLP-1/GIP ratio. That adds up to just 4.5mg of medication in total, and I've been at it for 8 weeks now.

If I followed the titration schedules, I'd be increasing by this point. But they're still working for me, even if the effect has weakened somewhat at this stage. Either way, I'm still receiving enough support to keep going.

So I'm glad my meds will stretch further, and I won't be chasing efficacy anytime soon.

I'm firmly in the camp of using the smallest amount that works. Even so, during that initial month or so, I had to resist the temptation to bump up my dose. At this point, I'm hoping I won't need to raise it. 1) my supply will stretch out far longer 2) I'm concerned that once I start going up, where does it end? I'm on a maintenance dose and intend to stay on it for the long haul. So the more time I can remain at one dose, the better.

I don't really hold back—but during months like this one, I begin to feel like a pincushion. I'm running a mitochondria reset, and I feel amazing, yet it's seriously a lot of injections, and when shark week arrives, I'd honestly prefer a slap to the face over another pin.

My current stack:

Every day

GHKCU

AM1

Semax - Thinking about adding selank

3 times per week

SS-31

NAD

Once per week

Reta

The micro dose approach gets my vote as well, though it doesn't matter much. I stick with Reta and nothing else. My routine is to run a given amount for 4 weeks; if it's still working well, I don't change it. I just wrapped up 7mg over 4 weeks, and during that final week I put on a pound and didn't feel the same—not truly full. Up until that week, I'd been losing 1-2.5lbs/week. Now I'm at 8mg.

At first, there was just 1 injection each week. These days, it's 6 shots per day. The stack has definitely expanded, to put it mildly. It feels like Groundhog Day on repeat. I've moved 80% of them to the glutes because my belly was becoming sore and developing lumps.

GHK-cu (6 months)

Tesamorelin (Until a kidney shadow becomes visible)

5-Amino-1mq (30 days) with a 2-week pause

AOD-9604 (60 days) with a 2-week pause

SS-31 (30 days) followed by MOTS-c (every other day)

KPV (daily)

Tirz (1 time per week)

An average person might see me as insane, but for everyone here, it's just business as usual.

I combine GHK with KPV, and occasionally BPC, based on what my recovery requires, but this approach lets me reduce the number of injections.

What's your experience with AOD? I'm interested in trying it, but I haven't been able to locate a vendor that provides testing for it.

The 2nd cycle delivered fairly solid results, less so on the scale, more in terms of body composition. A flatter stomach. More of a supporting pep.

I constantly feel the pull to expand my stack, yet I'm hopelessly wishy-washy about it—it's honestly embarrassing. For the time being, I'll simply keep digging into the research and stay focused on reaching my target weight with reta. That is, unless I stumble upon a solid gb covering something I've got on my list. 😁

I should get familiar with GB's. I'm feeling excluded.

If you simply purchase every option, there’s no need to make a choice…

I wish there were a peptide out there that could suppress my urge to buy additional kits. If such a peptide existed, I'd purchase 10 kits of it.
