Hi all! Kelsey here, writing from the Arizona desert 🌵

As a grandma who stays very active, I hold the view that my excuses should never outweigh the barbell. Heavy lifting, rock climbing, scuba diving, golfing, and audiobooks during car rides are all things I enjoy. For more than a year now, I've been using peptides, and it ranks among the best choices I've made for my health and quality of life.

My strong conviction is this: aging is inevitable, but how we age is something we can influence. Getting old is NOT for the weak, and I'm going to fight it with every tool I can! I can't wait to meet everyone and gain knowledge from this awesome community.

That's awesome — glad you're here!

Hello everyone. I'm a grandmother too, and my grandkids keep me on my toes. My goal is to stay capable enough to join in what they do.

Hello and welcome! Your perspective on getting older really resonates with me! I didn't expect to be this invested in it, but here I am! Once I hit my forties, caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and saw a photo taken after I'd gotten healthier, my reaction was basically ‘nope, not letting this slide!’ These days I'm exploring every option out there! I began using GHK at the start of May, but the sting is intense enough that I'm unsure whether I can stick with it on a daily basis 😭

Been there with that burn... Here's what helped me: give it time to warm up to room temp prior to injecting, and push the plunger in gradually. Also, the upper glute area tends to be gentler. A small sting is a fair trade, trust me 🙂

Such a great intro — it's really motivating to see people who are older refusing to just decay and instead pushing back hard against getting older. Huge inspiration for the person I'll be later on 🙂

I’ve genuinely tried every single approach 😭. With the 1st vial, I had to force myself through it, but I figured I’d cracked the code. Then I left for 2 weeks of vacation, so I paused, came back, and moved on to the 2nd one — and that one gives me red, itchy welts that stick around for days. After that, they appear to morph into something like a little fat deposit lump. Still, I’ve run through the whole list… extra BAC, leaving it at room temp, thigh, love handle, butt, injecting super slowly, changing the angle, Benadryl, Castro oil, bite stick. Every last one! Up to now, no results have shown up 😒

Getting older is something none of us can avoid, yet it's pretty incredible how much we're able to do to smooth the ride a bit. For me, the further along I get in years, the more looking after myself feels like it's become a second full-time role ..except I'm already working a full-time job! Welcome!
