Hello! I'm familiar with glp1, but peptides and grey are both new territory for me. After being diagnosed with hEDS and an autoimmune disease, my immune system took a serious hit. I took a glp1 for weight loss and it did help with inflammation, though the weight came off less than I'd hoped. When insurance cut coverage, I had to quit suddenly, and combined with becoming a full-time caregiver, I've put on 35 pounds. A friend introduced me to Reta, and I'm now just beginning to explore this whole rabbit hole. Excited to pick up more knowledge from this community!

Bringing down inflammation matters a great deal in my case. My wish is that you continue to obtain what you require and gather plenty of knowledge on how to do that without risking harm!

Same here — once my insurance cut it off, that's how I ended up in this space. I'm still in the research phase, haven't placed an order or tested anything, though Reta was likely going to be my first pick as well.

Insurance is basically why I'm around too. My deductible hasn't been met yet, so naturally getting healthy costs me a mortgage payment out of pocket.

I've got a hiatus hernia, and up to this point it's been amazing for me. I'm confident it'll help improve the inflammation too. Have you thought about stacking it with a different peptide, like bpc?

Hi there

Reta has genuinely been great for me. It's been 2 months since I started. Going grey costs far less than the other labs, though you still need to do your homework.

A hiatal hernia is something I have too! That's great that it provides relief. I'm curious to hear details on how you do it, what dose you take, and so on. I'm unfamiliar with that, but I'm willing to learn!

glp1s have helped me a ton with inflammation too. brand name isn't covered by my insurance, and i went through a clinic for a while, but the cost was way too high, so i ended up going grey like a lot of people here. i've been using tirz rather than reta, but things are going well so far

Thanks man, glad to lay out what I'm running.

Based on what I've read, visceral fat — the kind around the belly — can pressure the diaphragm, and that pressure might play a role in developing a hernia.

I've been through 2 laparoscopic Nissen repairs, each 10 years apart, the most recent in 2019. Sadly, it failed. These days I have a better idea of why it didn't hold.

Things got rough enough that I'd be jolted awake in the night gasping, with acid backing up into my windpipe.

What I'm running right now:

Reta 4 mg once a week

Test C 50 mg twice a week

BPC-157 0.25 mg daily

KPV 0.25 mg daily

CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin blend 0.3 mg daily

I picked the CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin blend over Tesamorelin because pricing in South Africa is steep, and it's only sold in 2 mg vials.

A second supplier recently came through with a lower Tesamorelin price, so once my local shipment lands, I'll switch to:

Reta 4 mg once a week — fat loss driver

Test C 50 mg twice a week — retain muscle during weight loss

BPC-157 0.25 mg daily — gut lining repair

KPV 0.25 mg daily — anti-inflammatory

Tesamorelin 0.5 mg daily — GH / fat targeting

GHK-Cu 2.5–3.5 mg daily — regeneration

MOTS-C 4–7 mg daily — metabolic support

A common error is jumping into Reta at too high a dose, which can strip weight off too fast, and that can leave loose, saggy skin behind.

So far it's gone really well for me, and I'm getting close to the point where a third — and hopefully last — operation to fix the hernia becomes possible.

Ask away if anything's unclear. Happy to help if I can.

I just joined as well. The sheer number of terms is more than I can take in right now, and honestly it feels pretty overwhelming. I'm completely without insurance, yet I'm still holding out hope that I can locate an option within my budget that actually helps.

Wishing you success in finding what you need!

Reta really is a game changer. Just be careful when picking a vendor 😮‍💨 I'm learning that the hard way

Which things do you need to watch out for? Also, what's the way to tell whether a vendor is good, reliable, and trustworthy?

The forum has a vendor review section that you should take a look at

If you pick a vendor that has 0 reviews, or one that reaches out to you before you reach out to them, you risk getting scammed. If you pick a vendor and take their COAs at face value without question, you may end up ordering products that are underfilled or that are not even what they claim to be. From reading what people who have spent years on this forum have gone through, what I've taken away is that testing matters enormously, and knowing how to filter matters just as much.

Right now, this is something I'm really finding difficult
