Hey everyone,

After a long stretch of just reading, I've made up my mind to share what I'm planning. My focus has been on how the body is put together over the long haul, and I'm now set on a 48-week commitment to reshape my frame into what I've been aiming for. A "quick fix" isn't what I'm after—what I want is a methodical, exact build.

A DEXA scan was done not long ago so I could establish a genuine starting point. It showed I have roughly 115 lbs of lean tissue. On the health side, my fasting glucose reads 86 mg/dL and my liver markers look good (ALT 31). Keeping these numbers safe matters a lot to me, so the main aim is to move forward without harming my metabolic health.

The target is to reach 185 lbs at 20% body fat by this time next year. According to the DEXA, around 80–90% of the fat I currently carry is subcutaneous, so my plan is a phased method to remove those surface layers while reinforcing what's underneath.

For close to two months I've been researching, and I'm nearly ready to start a 4 cycle program.

Fluffy52, the way you're going about this really stands out to me! Everything changes when you've got solid data behind you. My guess is that a lot of what's posted in this community will come in handy and open your eyes.

Wishing you success as you pursue this!

Great to have you here — and I really like how you’re approaching this.

Booking a DEXA right away and actually tracking your numbers already puts you miles ahead of most folks. Same goes for caring about your glucose and liver values — that’s the correct thing to prioritise.

The staged, long-range thinking works too. Plenty of people try to hurry it and just end up going in circles or hitting a wall.

The one caveat (and it comes up constantly around here): even with a solid blueprint, it usually pays to keep the opening phase minimal and layer things on instead of throwing the entire stack at it from day one. That way you can actually tell what’s doing the work.

Still, you’ve obviously put the time in. I’m curious how you’ll lay out each phase — please keep us in the loop 👍

I've mapped out my phases fairly thoroughly (at least in my head). A big part of why I signed up here was to learn more and lay out my approach so others can weigh in. Knowing things gives you an edge, particularly when you're stepping into territory you don't know

I'd share it right here, but according to the rules this area is meant for casual conversation only!!

Getting that DEXA done really opened my eyes. For a couple of years I'd been training and eating in a surplus, and since the scale kept climbing while my lifts went up, I assumed it was all muscle. Then the dexa result came back at 39% body fat, so the very next day I began cutting. Roughly 6 months into that cut now, and I've dropped around 15 lbs, though there's still a LONG road ahead. Hard work matters to me, but so does working smarter rather than harder — that's the path that brought me to peptides.

Can I post my phase-by-phase plans? I'd rather not violate one of the new member rules by discussing it and end up getting kicked
