Hey there!

It's only been recently that I started taking peptides seriously. The reason is simple: for the last 4 years I've either been pregnant or breastfeeding. A number of my friends are on peptides and look fantastic, so I'm coming around to the thought of giving them a try. My youngest is nearly 1, and after I finish nursing, my possible plan is to begin a glp and perhaps other peptides. Until then, I'm soaking up every bit of information, and it's a lot to take in. This forum came up while I was researching, and I'm thrilled to have such a valuable resource for the crazy number of questions in my head.

Current stats - I am 5’7”, 34yo, and current weight is 185. Goal would be 140.

My wife is roughly 8 months past giving birth and has just begun RETA. The weight came off fast, about 20 pounds. She added weight training, a high protein diet, and fasting. Still, her side effects hit her much harder than they hit me. Stomach cramping and nausea were what she dealt with. We ended up having to lower her dose. Her blood work looked great when it came back. It is just a matter of her managing the side effects.

That's wonderful! It's good to hear she's done well even with some side effects. I hope dropping her dose has made a difference. For bloodwork, does she go through a provider, or do you arrange it yourselves? I should figure that out too. Tracking my bloodwork is something I definitely want to do

Our blood work is handled by our family doctor, and we have it done there 2 times per year. The at-home bloodwork choices have crossed my mind. Those ads show up everywhere online, but I still haven't given one a try.

Glad to have you in this great group. My suggestion would be to begin with blood work, which you can typically get through a mail-in service for about $100. For getting started, Reta and KLOW are what I'd strongly suggest. Reta handles the weight side, while KLOW helps you bounce back from everything motherhood puts your body through. Give both of them a look — they're truly Amazing. It's good to meet you, and once more, welcome to this amazing family GLP-1 Group.

At what dose did she begin, and then what dose did she lower to in order to manage her side effects?

Has she seen those side effects go down or go away completely at this point?
