Began on reta but the side effects hit me hard — lots of throwing up and similar issues — so I quit and made the switch to tirz. On tirz things have gone much smoother; aside from feeling off when I eat fatty foods (which I no longer even crave), I've had virtually nothing to complain about.

Right now I'm just cruising along at 10mg (more or less, depending on how much over or under the vial actually is) since the weight keeps coming off steadily and easily, with no noticeable side effects. I'm holding off on bumping the dose until I see whether it eventually stops working. The one thing I'm actually struggling with is figuring out which protein and meal supplements to pick, since nutrition is a subject I know nothing about.

Hi there! I’m also on tirz! My dose moves around between 10 and 12.5mg! Most of the time I’ll take 12.5mg, wait 1.5 weeks, then take 10mg. I decide based on how I’m feeling or whether I catch myself snacking more.

I figure if your calorie and protein intake matches your body weight, you should be okay. Also, based on what your nutrition looks like, I’d add a daily multivitamin.

It’s good that you’ve landed on the option that suits you. Until now, I wasn’t aware of anyone reporting worse side effects with reta compared to tirz. What was your tirz titration schedule like?

I followed the usual approach: began at 2.5, then increased by 2.5 each month until reaching 10, and I've stayed at that dose for quite some time.

For me it went the other way around. Tirz hit me hard. Splitting the reta dose made a big difference for me.

What stands out as a worry is a tirz dose that high. Was 10 your starting point?

Beyond that, in my opinion nutrition and exercise matter most with these. Nail down your nutrition and aim for a steady calorie intake. Track your calories and go for a controlled, slower loss. See the glp as a tool rather than the main thing. A strong foundation like that doesn't just make things work better, it also helps you hold onto results once the time comes to titrate down.

Hold off until the more seasoned folks chime in. After that, you'll see what the issue is. If not, I'll break it down afterward. No time right now.

Let me lay out the issue right now. The OP shares nothing about SW, LW, GW, the duration of Reta use, or the dose, and tirz is equally unexplained. Whether the vials were underfilled or overfilled doesn't seem to matter to them either. Reading it isn't even worthwhile.

The second individual also provides no details and isn't even sticking to a protocol, yet backs up what the first one said.

Neither of them is in any position to guide anyone but themselves.

Turning to them for advice isn't appropriate. Instead, go through threads and seek guidance from those who have actually stuck to protocols, understand their actions, and can offer advice responsibly.

You requested information, and what you got back was 1,2,3,4. Does that leave you satisfied?

Also on tirz. Currently at 7.5 and still dropping weight. Great product.

There may be some trouble with language between us, but I can't quite tell what your point is. I'm not here to recommend anything, nor am I offering guidance or ideas of any kind — I'm just describing what happened in my own case. I have no interest in steering people off reta or onto tirz, and if reta is working well for someone, that's great; it's likely a safe and effective option overall.

I feel the same way. All you did was talk about what happened to you. From what I can tell, though, 10mg was where things clicked for you. That's great! I still don't know your starting weight, how much you dropped, or over how many weeks...?

As for me, the entire run from my starting weight to my goal weight happened on 5mg TIRZ across 32 weeks. I began at 102kg and shed 25,5kgs without ever going up in dose. For the past 3 weeks I've been on a maintenance dose of 2mg and I'm still slowly dropping a bit.

Do you know that muscle loss is out there waiting for you? Protein on its own won't fix that. Mine kicked in once I'd lost 20kg. I began ipa at a low dose and after a month added cjc-1295 no dac along with training and daily protein intake. I'm still pinning 0.350mg ipa+cjc stack every day. Put together, they've been helping shield my muscles. Along with the stack, the hunger noise came back too. By then I just tuned it out. A few days later I got used to it.

What gives you the idea I'm a Reta fan? I gave it 2 weeks and got 3 days of heavy diarrhea out of it. That was my body, my experience, though. I still have nothing bad to say about Reta. It didn't work for me. For someone else it could be the opposite.

Now you see my point. A novice could read your comment and try to titrate to 10mg fast to chase the same result, when that isn't needed at all? There's a story behind it and I want to hear it.

I wasn’t looking for input from you—you complete idiot. What I did was ask a person with no connection to you about what they’d personally gone through, since it caught my interest. You and whatever you think have no place in this exchange. The only thing I told you was to back off, and you’re obviously too dense to get that.
