Hi everyone! I decided to join this forum after I tried GLP1 two years ago (semaglutide) from a mainstream pharmacy, and whilst I was taking it, it completely changed my relationship with food. I didn't understand what food noise was, until it was gone.

I only was on it for 6 months due to cost but it was really eye opening, and despite my hardest efforts weight did come back after about 2 years of trying to maintain.

I even kept an unopened pen for a year in my fridge but im too scared to touch it as i assume it's expired, so decided to look into what else is available and find out how best to rid myself of that all consuming food noise.

I cant wait to restart my journey!

Similar experience with the food noise tingy. I have been on tirzepatide for 2 months now and it’s best so damn good. It took a while to get used to the lack of food noise (lots of making extra food out of habit). I wish you the best here, fellow newbie!

Tirzepatide will be your friend. And much more value for money going grey than the UK pharmacies. Take your time finding a vendor and good luck 🤞

Thanks so much.

I was wondering whether to just try semaglutide again or actually try something new.

Is Tirzapetide thought to be better for food noise? The semaglutide was so good, the thought of it being even better is insane!!

Ok how about drinking water? That was the one thing that really got me, I would just not get thirsty at all and then I blink and I've not hydrated for 2 days.

It got me too to be honest! I’d normally go through a gallon (3.7L) of water a day and since starting tirze i’ve had to be on top of making sure i drink some because sometimes i forget to drink water since my body isnt demanding it like before!

I have found that tirz has drastically reduced food noise but can be there can be times when it does appear to niggle and then it takes a bit of talking to myself to question am I really hungry. if it is more of a treat then is it within my calories deficit. I’ve also started couch to 5k but don’t include those calories burnt in my calcs as it notoriously unreliable to work it out.

As for water, I work with a pint glass on my desk and try to drink 4 pints spaces out over the working day, 2 before lunch and 2 after and the fact I am monitoring it by looking at the glass helps me to remember. I do get headaches if I forget and don’t get enough.

I am down 27kg since mid October so it’s working well at the moment, but losses are slowing and becoming more erratic, I have at least another 10-15kg to go, not really set a goal weight, I’m going to see how I feel.

I think its crazy that there a people out there, who dont experience food noise at all. What do you mean you forgot to eat today? I cant have snacks at home because otherwise i wont think of anything else the whole day. Now that im on tirzepatide, i finally understand what it means to see food more as an energy and nutrient source and not the most important thing in my life.

Hi there, 33 also. I first tried semaglutide at my heaviest and was absolutly green around the gills and sick for months. I didn't lose much and it didn't help me personally with inflammation or food noise, I was just flat out nauseated. For me, I sort of gave up and ended up changing to reta down the line and had a completely different experience. Coupled with completely changing diet and locking in to the gym, I felt immediate relief. Food noise is almost completely gone unless I truly slack and skip my dose for an extended amount of time... but I think utilizing ret as a tool enabled me to commit to my lifestyle change so long that even when I am off my normal dosage, I don't feel that noise coming back. Don't let your fears get in your head, there will be ups and downs for sure but you are doing the best you can with the tools you've found and I think that you'll do great! Good luck on your restartttt

Hey LH!

Welcome back into the world of GLP’s! I’m brand new here and haven’t ever tried and GLP’s. I’m hoping by busting into the gray market, after learning as much as I can to make the best informed decisions, that the cost issue that deters so many doesn’t become an issue for me. As a previous GLP user, what do you plan to do differently this time! I’m looking for all of the advice I can get.

Sorry for the late reply.

What a good question! I also thought that gray market would save me money. And then maybe have a little bit more flexibility, possibly looking into microdosing maybe once I get to target weight possibly.

And focus of protein and muscle building, I lost my bum first time round and it's not come back despite the weight gain. So now I need to build one for myself!

The snack thing is so real! I just cant have any convenience food in the house, otherwise I'm eating it all, and all at once.

I'm more aware of it now but I do give in to it more often than not these days.

I’m a fellow food noise sufferer as well and I’m looking forward to seeing what no food noise is like

If you liked Semaglutide, you are going to love Tirzepatide. For pure weightloss, it's a all you are going to need.

You might also consider Retatrutide. Most people have great results with this but everybody is different.

For me it isn't as appetite suppressive as Tirz but I don't want to miss out on the other benefits so I stack them. For me, that's the magic combination.

Good luck on learning crypto and finding a vendor 🍀

Oh I was wondering about stacking! When did you decide to stack? Is it to lose weight faster or for something else?

I started on Mounjaro and got my hands on Retatrutide after about 3 months. I added Reta and went down on Tirz until I noticed that the food noise started to come back so I went back up a little on Tirz.

Plus, I split-dose both Reta and Tirz, so that's at least 4 pokes a week. Stability is key for me and this combo works great for me. Your ideal combo might be different.

For the moment my hunger is stable. I can enjoy a nice meal at a restaurant if I want but I don't feel like stuffing myself with junk anymore.
