Good evening, and thanks for having me.

I tend to read and lurk more than I post, though I'd like to chime in now and then. Right now I'm drowning in information, and I'm eager to go through more of the threads.

After a holistic Dr. I saw recommended it, plus some advice from my gym-bro brother-in-law, I began Reta... currently in my 6th week. I'm also curious about other people, but I'm trying not to get ahead of myself.

Thanks again for the add. Happy to be here, and I hope to get to know some of you better down the road.

So far, how has your time on Reta been?

Hey there, fellow local! 🙂

The non-scale wins have caught me off guard. My sweet tooth has basically vanished, and that was a total surprise. I hadn't realized how badly I needed that shift, yet it's making it easier to eat 'right' without fighting urges.

My current dose is 2mg weekly, and I'm leaning toward holding there for a bit. I was tempted to bump it up, but the reason was purely weight loss, and I decided that mindset wasn't the right one, so I'm staying at 2mg for the time being.

That's great to hear! For me, the cravings tend to hit for all sorts of random items — sweet, salty, you name it. Fingers crossed it quiets all of that at once in my case too. Glad it's been going well for you so far.

Your approach seems like the right one. The urge to bump the dose up can creep into some people's heads, but in my opinion holding steady is always the better route — as long as things haven't clearly plateaued, of course. Nice work

Reta has really won me over! For close to 3 months, I've been dosing 2mg each week. Around 7-9 pounds came off, though there wasn't a lot of extra weight on me to begin with.

These days I'm putting weight back on on purpose, and I'm sticking with Reta since it helps quiet down the sugar cravings. At work I used to nibble constantly, and these days that urge is gone. Love it!
