So, after lurking here since September I thought I should finally make my first post and join in this wonderful community. This isn't something I find easy as I'm not the most talkative or social of people, but I'll give it a go.
My GLP-1 journey started last June with prescription Mounjaro before switching to grey Tirz when the price doubled here in the UK. After a year I've finally made it into the healthy BMI range for the first time in my life and it feels amazing to no longer be a slave to my appetite. I do still have a bit more to lose but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
It's not all been plain sailing however as I had a heart attack on Christmas day. Not surprising considering my lifestyle before, but still not great to have happen at age 41. Since then it's been more about dialing in my diet and exercise than losing weight.
