Hi everyone,

Time for my intro — I'm brand new to all of this. Fingers crossed I've posted this in the correct spot and haven't rambled on too much.

A bit of background: I'm a 51 year old bloke carrying a lot of excess weight. There's some medical stuff in the mix too, the most entertaining being Crohns and Addisons. Because of the Addisons I no longer produce cortisol on my own, so I have to estimate my dose and either swallow a tablet or use an emergency injection (picture Nicolas Cage in The Rock). My theory is that one drawback of dosing cortisol all day long is that it pushes my insulin up, which encourages visceral fat storage. Roughly 40lbs is what I'd like to shed, and every bit of it sits on my belly. Honestly it looks like I'm hiding a bowling ball under my T-shirt.

Dieting gave me a little progress, but tracking calories stresses me out badly and I end up quitting. Going more carnivore feels gentle on my stomach, except then I crash and get the shakes. Adding some carbs back makes me feel better, yet the belly stays fat…

I've also given tirzepatide (mounjaro) a go, ordered from a UK online pharmacy, for around 6 months. About 40lbs came off, which was brilliant, until the pharmacy cut off my supply — once they learned about my crohns and addisons they didn't want to keep prescribing. My own view is that I get the possible risks of this medicine and the decision ought to be mine. So now I have to step into the intimidating world of grey-market peptides and crypto.

Some videos about A.I. and peptides have given me a fair amount of hope (and I could really use some).

Anyway — hello.

I'd really like to know whether anyone else with crohns or Addisons has managed to lose visceral fat using peptides. But honestly, any success stories or glimmers of hope are very welcome.

Cheers all.

When it comes to the health problems you mentioned, I can't offer any advice. As for getting more Tirz, though, there's definitely a route you can figure out on here. Most likely it will be imported from China, with a smaller chance of it coming from europe. Not a single supplier listed on this forum keeps a UK warehouse. If you end up stuck, UK peptide suppliers sell single vials of Tirz online — that's what I did until my first ever grey order arrived at the weekend. I spent about 6months on Mounjaro pens, then spent a month buying vials, and now I've got stock from China that should cover the next 6-10months.

Hi mrmors, cheers for getting back to me. I appreciate it. What's your experience with Tirz been like? Did it assist with fat loss? Back when I used the tirz pens, roughly 15lbs came off during the first couple of weeks, but then things really stalled, even though the pen dosage kept going up each month (right until I quit at around the 6 month mark). Don't want to come across as the guy firing off endless questions, but is there a clear page/thread around here that guides a noob through how to reach out to a supplier/ steer clear of scammers, plus how to arrange peptide testing (so fentanyl poisoning doesn't happen)?

Are you staying on tirz alone, or stacking reta too? From what I've heard, combining at lower doses works just as well as a single higher dose, but with fewer side effects.

I'm eager to dig into the research, though it feels pretty overwhelming.

Cheers bud.

My experience with it has been largely excellent. From 2.5 up to 7.5 on Mounjaro I dropped 20kg, though that also came alongside heavy exercise, something I've always kept up; the Tirz simply brought my surplus calories under control. The problem was that the moment I reached 100kg, for reasons I can't pin down, Tirz stopped doing anything at all. Appetite suppression was still present, I remained in a deficit, I was eating a lot of protein, yet the scale wouldn't move. So a few weeks back I brought Retatrutide into the mix and now I'm taking both together at fairly small doses — Reta aimed at burning fat more effectively, Tirz aimed at shutting down appetite more effectively.

As for your second question, sadly there isn't one. Trust me, I searched hard for it. I'll lay the whole thing out in stages and flag anything I managed to find along the way.

1. Locating sellers (I'm avoiding the 'V' word because of the forum headings — I think using it gets my posts blocked). The forum has a few areas for this. One covers the better-known forum sponsor sellers. You can browse those, see what they stock, their pricing, how to reach them, and which payment methods they take. Then there's the area for individual sellers without their own section — I have absolutely no clue how any of that operates or whether they're legit. Some sellers also have 'reviews' posted in the review section.

2. After picking a seller — and honestly, mine was a total gamble — I chose one of the forum sponsors that had a few reviews and turned up now and then when people searched for them. Next you have to arrange contact. That can happen in various ways; their sales listing will explain how to get in touch, whether by email, whatsapp, telegram, discord and so on. You message them saying you want to place an order. At this point I got scolded by discord for accidentally calling 'Alex' the seller a 'him' — the nerve of me making that mistake. Be cautious here: the seller is probably legit, but impersonators of that seller will very likely try to reel you in at this stage and message you. They tried it with me. Sneaky.

3. The seller quotes you a price, most likely in dollars, and explains how to pay.

4. Then you have to figure out how to get the funds to them — 99% of the time it'll be some cryptocurrency. You need to wrap your head around that part. The crypto corner section of the forum has plenty of threads and guides covering it.

5. With funds ready, you go back to the seller, tell them you want to pay, and they give you an address, like a bank account, to send the money to.

6. The seller confirms the money arrived and asks for contact details for the shipment.

7. The seller processes your order and, some time later, sends shipping details such as fedex, royal mail and so on. The label can arrive days and days after you ordered.

8. The order ships, you can track it, and from China to the UK end to end it may take 2-4wks after payment.

On Fentanyl poisoning — from what I know, it isn't a thing. I've never heard of it happening, ever. I'm not claiming it can't, but equally I could drop dead from a bad bottle of pepsi with glass accidentally in it. The more legit vendors test everything they sell and hold 'CoA' evidence for the tests on each batch; you want to go with vendors who have those.

welcome!!! my take on this.... crypto isn't something i use. when i'm looking for someone to buy from, i aim for a seller who takes PayPal. that way, at least there's a guarantee that my money comes back if they rip me off. not long ago i put in an order using crypto for 2 kits of peptides plus a few kits of oils, and well yea i ended up getting scammed, so luckily i had the sense to make it a small order first just to check if they were legit. yea I'm out $125 but that beats losing $500. but hey you live and learn. for me its more about assurance.

I live in the UK as well and I have Ulcerative Colitis.

Getting started through a legitimate pharmacy wasn't an option for me, so my first step was sharing my wife's Mounjaro, and then last May I moved into the grey route.

Tirz was a huge help — I've dropped 6 stone and I'm in the best shape of my life — but a few of the sides clashed with the UC, so last November I made the switch to Reta.

Do you have your supply tested by a third party? I want to try the grey market, but I need to be sure the product is safe.

That's a yes and no situation. Testing isn't something I do myself; however, the grey market vendor I purchased from did have independent testing done, and they possess the CoA's.

It's the trust needed that I struggle with. How do I know the batch numbers aren't faked? I take it you haven't hit any problems so far?

Typically, these communities operate as follows:

A vendor performs a Test and shares the results.

Buyers from that vendor arrange a group buy and have it tested independently; if the vendor permits sharing these 3rd party tests, most will cover that expense.

When any of those 3rd party tests turns up an issue, nearly every group (telegram/discord/reddit/forums) erupts into discussion about the failed test.

Since I normally don't purchase for immediate use, having several different tests plus the community flagging problems together is enough for my risk profile — yours might not be the same.

That's genuinely helpful information, thanks. There's still a huge amount for me to pick up. Grateful for you sharing.

Hi! So how exactly does group testing work? I’ve been looking through the site, and honestly I still don’t understand the process.

Yet I keep seeing that new members can’t post and have to receive an invitation for group testing, but you won’t get invited because you’re new here.

I’ve also got a question about the tests themselves: besides purity and endotoxins, what else needs to be checked?

Typically a vendor will run some kind of Discord or Telegram server for their buyers to talk in, and that's where groups form to arrange a group buy plus shared testing. The price paid to the supplier stays the same, and the cost of testing gets split among the whole group.

The basics are mass & purity, meaning: does that 10mg vial of Reta really hold 10mg of Reta, and is it 99% pure?

Endotoxins are a debated topic, with some arguing they matter and others saying they don't. Even that endo test which recently failed so publicly came in under the EU endotoxin limit, provided you dosed it correctly.

As for heavy metals, Jano has stated there's no point testing peptides for them since they never contain heavy metals, I think that applies more to steroids and other drugs.

Greetings from another person in the UK 🙂

I can't comment on your medical conditions or how Tirz or Reta might interact with them, since I lack the expertise about how these peptides behave alongside Crohns and Addisons. Still, I'd have imagined the anti-inflammatory properties of Tirz might have offered some benefit?

For roughly 14 months I got Mounjaro through a UK pharmacy, eventually reaching the top dose, after which its effectiveness dropped for me. Paying what the top dose cost at a UK pharmacy for something that had largely stopped working was no longer justifiable. For a couple of months I bought Reta from a UK peptide site, but I observed that Reta lacked the same appetite suppression that Tirz provided, and it also didn't match Tirz's anti-inflammatory strength. Sleep and energy were generally much improved on Reta, mind you. Since binge eating is my core problem, appetite suppression matters most to me, so Reta by itself simply didn't fit and I gained weight during that period. After digging deeper on this forum, I bought Tirz and Reta from one of the main suppliers mentioned here, and I've discovered that stacking Reta with Tirz (higher Tirz dose on Sunday, lower Reta dose on Thursday) produced my best outcome. I'm really glad I came across this forum, because I bought 1 kit each of Tirz and Reta, which ought to cover about 10-11 months, and the total came to not much more than a single month's moinjaro supply would have cost me at a UK pharmacy.

I'm certainly not offering advice, as I know nothing about the risks tied to GLP-1 use and your medical conditions, but my guess would be that if Tirz/Mounjaro did the job for you, then stay with it.

Across the last 17 months I've dropped a substantial amount of weight (over 9 stone), and my stomach is completely flat with no visceral fat (at least according to my RENPHO scales 😉 and I credit GLP-1s plus a keto diet for this. Carbs are my biggest enemy and I'll put on weight right away after eating even a normal amount. Intermittent fasting too. I eat just 2 meals per day on an 18:6 fasting schedule. My belly only really shrank once I began keto/very low carb eating and intermittent fasting. Walking and trying to hit my steps each day also seemed to help the extra weight come off.

Best of luck on your journey 🙂

When I started out, I felt exactly the same way — totally lost in the details and worried about putting my faith in these vendors. On this forum, the sheer volume of posts can overwhelm you and actually leave you with more uncertainty than before. My advice would be to buy only from the primary vendors named here; a handful of them handle large batch/wholesale orders alongside the smaller purchases that most members make (1 or 2 kits at a time). Wholesale orders, though, tend to come with a greater likelihood of group testing, where the buyers pool their peptides and send them for analysis to obtain the COA cert. I reached out to several vendors and asked about their prices, shipping fees and delivery times to the UK, what protection they offered if customs seized my parcel, which payment methods they took, and whether the specific batch I wanted had a valid COA. After that, I joined a WhatsApp group run by one of the vendors, which turned out to be really useful — customers use these groups and they are packed with information, such as batch testing results and COA certs. The vendor I ultimately picked gave me a great experience: the parcel reached the UK in 8 days, customs caused no problems, and the rep I spoke with was extremely helpful. There was also an excellent post on this forum that walked through the crypto process step by step for complete beginners, and I followed it to complete my first crypto payment successfully.

Wish you all the best with your journey 🙂

From what I understand, certain peptides might be beneficial for crohns. Have you looked into this at all? I've seen Tirz reduce my wife's bathroom trips quite a bit. She's likely thinking about how to fill all that extra time now. 😂

besides peptides, my usual approach is to tally my calories for a single day to get a real picture of my intake. Once you have that number, you can adjust your meals without strict tracking. If the scale creeps up a bit, run the calorie count again and make small adjustments. And obviously, hit your steps EVERY DAY.

Thanks for breaking that down.

From what I’ve gathered while reading up, going over the norm with endos can leave you feeling unwell. And for people running larger doses, is it worse? Not trying to be a pain, but stuff on the internet can be all over the place when it comes to endos, protocols and so on.

Since I speak several languages, I dig deep into sources in every language I know.
