Howdy!!! Thanks for having me. I’ve been lurking around here for a while and finally decided to register. I’m hoping to find answers to questions I have, that I know have already been asked, and hopefully also contribute some to this excellent community.

GLP-1 has been a life changer, but it’s been a wild journey for my rat these past 6 months. I’m hoping this forum can point my rat in a positive direction for continued success. Here’s a little background of my rat’s journey:

This male rat started name brand Tirz in January of 2024 at a starting weight of 310lbs. Rat had great success with weight loss over a period of 2 years. Titrated up to 15mg over that time and shrank in size down to 235 lbs before reaching a plateau and maintaining weight for about 4 months before being forced off of Tirz due to insurance changes. Rat was then put on oral Sema at the highest dose of 25mg per day. Rat did that for 90 days, gained 15 lbs and decided he had enough of that. Very unsuccessful. Rat then went to GLP-1 compound. Quickly dosed up to 10mg, but was then allowed to restart name brand Tirz, again…. Rat has been stacking name brand and compound Tirz to make a weekly dose of 10mg while name brand titrates up in dose each month. Rat was allowed to restart name brand at 7.5mg. Rat is currently not losing weight, but also not gaining.

Rat is hoping to find info about peps and GLP-1 combinations that will safely jumpstart weigh loss so he can continue his journey.

Looking forward to learning new ways to success.

So yeah… Happy to be here!

Hello, R-n-R. Since you know that 15 mg of Tirz was working for you, sounds like you know where you're headed in the gray market. I'm on Tirz myself (currently at 10 mg). But Reta is even more popular (though there's no approved brand name version - a word to the wise), so that might be worth considering

Good luck!.

Hi from another fellow Texan! I imagine it was pretty disheartening when insurance took you off name brand Tirz and oral sema didn’t work for you. Here’s to hoping that with the resources you find here, you’ll hit your goal and maintain it 🙂
