Howdy!!! Appreciate the welcome. After spending quite a while reading posts without an account, I finally went ahead and signed up. There are things I want to learn, some of which I'm sure have come up before, and I'd also like to give back where I can to this great community.
GLP-1 has completely changed things, though the last 6 months have been quite a ride for my rat. My hope is that this forum helps steer my rat toward more progress. A bit about where my rat has been:
In January of 2024, this male rat began name brand Tirz at 310lbs. Over 2 years, the rat lost a lot of weight. The dose was raised to 15mg during that stretch, and the rat went from 310 lbs down to 235 lbs, then hit a plateau and held that weight for roughly 4 months until insurance changes made it impossible to stay on Tirz. Next, the rat was switched to oral Sema at the maximum dose of 25mg daily. After 90 days of that, the rat had put on 15 lbs and called it quits. Not a good result at all. The rat moved to GLP-1 compound. The dose was quickly increased to 10mg, but then name brand Tirz was permitted again…. Since then, the rat has been stacking name brand and compound Tirz for a weekly total of 10mg while the name brand dose goes up monthly. Name brand was restarted at 7.5mg. Right now the rat isn't dropping weight, but isn't putting any on either.
What the rat wants to learn is which peps and GLP-1 combinations can safely kick weight loss back into gear so the journey can keep going.
Eager to pick up new paths to success.
So yeah… Glad to be here!
