First time posting. I've spent months looking into this and I'm ready to start Reta. Male, 50 years old. About seven years back I went from 250 down to 175 just by changing my diet, and since then I've gradually climbed back to 215. Even though I'm more active now, my metabolism has clearly slowed, so my goal is to reach a healthy 160-170 and hold that weight.

Hi there. What made you pick Reta? I'm in the same boat—just beginning to dig into this—and I keep drifting toward it, though I know it's the shiny new option everyone's talking about. The single factor pushing me toward Reta instead of tirz is that extra glucagon piece, which seems like it could help with visceral fat.

If you've got any other reasons why Reta stands out, I'd really appreciate hearing them!

A last-minute work trip kept me away for 12 weeks, and between eating whatever the hotel had, barely working out, and not sleeping well, I’ve crept up to about 225. Not great. Still, my Reta order has finally shipped. I’ve got another work trip coming up next month, so my plan is to kick off the experiment around mid to late July.

I appreciate the people who gave me support.

As for the person who wanted to know, from what I can tell, Reta appears to perform better in studies and might also provide an extra benefit by enhancing that metabolism-slowing effect.
