Hello everyone, I've just joined after coming over from Reddit.
What I'm after is discussion grounded in facts and science, since the guidance I came across on Reddit struck me as unreliable and heavily bro science.
A quick bit about where I'm at so far — I'll keep it brief, as I don't tend to share much about who I am.
I've long been into Gym going and Bike riding, yet getting under 100kg has never happened for me; shedding the 'dad bod' has been a relentless struggle.
After reading up on Ozempic and Wegovy, I worked out that my BMI wouldn't qualify me for those medications, so I kept researching and came across Reta.
4 weeks in, I'm down 7kg, though the bulk of that is water weight since I was on creatine before beginning reta, so I expect a further water drop as creatine levels fall.
My starting dose was 2.5mg and I've just taken a dose at 3mg; so far only the first week brought moderate symptoms, otherwise things have gone really smoothly.
My partner is now beginning Reta too, at a dosage much lower than mine.
Thanks
