I've been on Mounjaro (yep, sourced through the flower company) for roughly 1.5 years. At the moment I have no intention of switching to other suppliers, but the whole subject fascinates me and I want to keep up with what's happening in the community.

My starting weight was 175.5kg. Now I'm at 110kg, with a height of 180cm. Progress has hit a plateau right now, though I'm sure it will pick up again eventually.

From day 1, logging my food, fluids and workouts has been a daily habit. I aim for about 110g protein each day. My intake ranges from 1500 kcal to 2000 kcal daily (ideally I'd keep it below 1500 kcal every single day, but that frequently doesn't pan out). On 90% of days I manage 2.8L of water (that's my 1.4L bottle filled twice, plus hardly anything else).

I step on the scale every morning. Right now I don't monitor my body "shape" at all.

My target is 75kg IF I can get there without unreasonable effort. 85kg would be a great outcome. Obviously with healthy lean mass. Should my weight fail to stay under 110kg for good, I'd feel dissatisfied but not miserable. Going from 175.5 to 110 is already a massive boost to my health and I'm extremely grateful for it.

Even before I began taking them, GLP-1 medications intrigued me. I studied chemistry, specializing in natural products and medicinal chemistry, and I also have some (limited!) knowledge of the pharma sector (my best friend works as a research lead ... currently involved in GLP-1 drug development).

MJ has been part of my routine for 7 months too, and 4 weeks ago I began pinning tirz sourced from the grey market. The sole thing that stands out to me is what it costs.

Dropping 65 kg is a huge win, and I doubt you have hit a wall. Take 7 days off, then resume. Should it still feel like it is doing nothing for you, options like adding cigr or another compound exist, or you could give reta a go? Wishing you more success

Hey. I appreciate the friendly response!

At 15mg I've still got enough stock to last roughly 8 months (I managed to get quite a bit through the UK). The likely next move is Reta. When it comes to stacking, I'm very cautious, and I'd want to see the research data coming out of the Lilly trials before I'd even think about it. How steep the price will end up being is something I'm really wondering about. From what I've gathered, the foundayo trial results fell short of what was expected for MJ maintenance, so they're rethinking how they plan to position reta on the market. MJ already costs so much that paying for it over the long term is out of reach for most people. Even if reta delivers better results, they'll struggle to make a case for charging an even higher price.

Everyone reacts differently. In my case, tirz still holds things steady at a maintenance dose. Across 28 weeks I never went above 5mg. Then 3 weeks back I stepped down to 3.3mg, and 2 days back to 2mg. My SW: 101kg, LW: 24kg. Right now I've hit my GW. I gave reta a 2-week trial, but it didn't do anything for me — zero weight lost, plus 3 days of severe diarrhea at the end. Returning to tirz brought me back to baseline. The only way is to test things yourself, patiently and sensibly. 🤞
