First off, I'd like to say hello to everyone. Seems like a very supportive and active community, which is something I've been looking for. Before I started pinning anything I did a ton of research as I like to do with most things I put in my body and was fascinated by what the science behind it all. I'm a huge proponent of extending lifespan and seeing how our every evolving increases in life span are affecting our human development. I have lofty goals for myself and I think this was one of the missing key ingredients to it. I'm happy to find a place where there's more people actively talking about and researching this. I have some friends who also enjoy peptides but finding an a community with a ton open discourse and experience is what I've been looking for.
As for what my journey has started like, I've been pinning Reta, Tesa, and GHK-CU for the last couple months here. First started with Reta, then added in Tesa (got them together, but the first one turned to gel overnight, was told it was an unstable batch) and GHK-CU about a week after that. Some of it was to lose a bit of weight. I was coming in about 225lbs, maybe a shade under. I've started each of them pretty low and slow to see where my tolerance is in each and settled on the Tesa and GHK-cu right now into a pretty standard dose. The Reta I'm slowly increasing. Along with that I've swapped my diet again into a very high protein diet.(175-205g per day) Also today marks my third week of weight training 5 days a week. This is something that I've begun to crave and is turning into a habit I love.
So far what I've noticed from pinning these three is so decent changes. The scale hasn't moved a ton, but that's not my main concern. I'm much more a "how do I look in mirror" type of person. From the Reta my food noise has dipped dramatically. No more storm eating. I'm very intentional with my food now, which is giving me even stronger appreciation for it, as there is fewer meals in a day. I've noticed from the Tesa a reduction in the visceral fat in my midsection and my deep sleep cycles have been great. The outer affects of the GHK-CU are starting to show now. I don't need a quick fix, so starting all these has been very interesting to watch the gradual changes as they are occurring.
What led me to this forum was me looking further and further down the rabbit hole. What started as reading Janoshik and the scammers manipulating test results for profit at Finnrisk reports ended up finding this forum, where there is a wealth of information far exceeding what I was hoping to find. I do believe that peptides will be part of the wave of the medical future and love the idea of being on the forefront of that movement.
Anyway, that's probably enough for an intro post. Hoping to have some good talks with many of you and soak up a ton of knowledge and experience.
